Key points about the Fantasma Games casino provider
Identity: Fantasma Games AB is a Swedish slot studio founded in Stockholm in August 2016 by Fredrik Johansson. It became EveryMatrix's in-house game studio in 2026.
Takeover: EveryMatrix offered SEK 59 per share on 18 September 2024, or €18.5 million for the whole company. The shares were delisted on 5 November 2024.
Game library: 59 exclusive slots as of 20 October 2026, with 50 released and 9 announced. There are no table games or live casino, but 98 games from partner studios complete the catalogue.
Where to play: games certified in 20 regulated markets, including the UK, Malta, Sweden, Ontario, Alberta and Michigan, with up to 39 certified titles per market.
Restricted markets: no certified title in Spain, Italy, Belgium or Switzerland, and a North American presence limited to Ontario, Alberta and four US states.
Licences: a Swedish game supplier licence valid until 30 June 2028 in its own name, plus Maltese and British licences held by its parent company EveryMatrix.
RTP: on 37 games, the casino picks one of three versions, such as 96.05%, 94.06% or 92.10% on Zoo Busters. The median of the highest versions stands at 96.13%.
Bonus buy: available on 32 games, from 60 times the stake on Wins of Nautilus to 1,000 times on Cookie Kingdom 1000. Seven titles add a Fortune Bet stake boost.
Volatility: mostly medium, with 26 medium, 16 medium-high and 15 high volatility games. Only Miner Moles and Cookie Kingdom 1000 are rated very high.
Jackpots: 28 games with fixed jackpots set as multiples of the stake. Clover Clover adds five capped jackpots that grow during play, and its Grand can climb to 5,000 times the stake.
Demos: 56 free official demos, playable without registration or deposit, with a €10,000 play-money balance and portrait mode on smartphones.
Verdict: a serious studio that publishes its RTPs game by game but lets casinos pick the version, and still has to prove it keeps its creative signature.
Fantasma Games: licensed casinos and demos from EveryMatrix's Swedish studio
Fantasma Games is a Swedish online slot studio founded in Stockholm in 2016 and bought in 2024 by the Maltese group EveryMatrix, which turned it into its in-house studio. It shares its home town with the old Swedish guard of slot making. Yet it sees itself as a child of video games, where you invent a world before you draw a grid. As of 20 October 2026, its gallery lists 59 exclusive titles, 50 of them already released. Its games are certified in 20 regulated markets across Europe and the Americas.
Two buttons at the very top of this page spare you a blind search. CASINO lists the online casinos I have selected for the country you are browsing from. Each one is licensed in its jurisdiction and carries Fantasma Games titles. GAMES will gather Fantasma's official demos as they are added, playable without an account or a deposit. If the CASINO button stays empty for you, none of my selected casinos offers these games in your country yet. There is no hidden list and no private access.
One detail matters before your first bet. On 37 of its 59 games, Fantasma Games lets casinos choose between three RTP settings, for example 96.05%, 94.06% or 92.10% on Zoo Busters.
Same machine, same reels, a different bill in the long run.
Which online casinos offer Fantasma Games slots?
You will find Fantasma Games slots at licensed casinos in 20 regulated markets, from the UK to Ontario by way of Sweden, Malta and Michigan. Only play at a Fantasma Games online casino that holds a licence from the authority in your country.
Fantasma Games' Swedish licence allows it to supply its games to operators licensed in Sweden, never to take your bets. So it is up to the casino to show its credentials, licence in hand.
The CASINO button is geolocated on kynox-casino.fr, kynox-casino.com and kynox-casino.es. It only lists casinos that are legal in your country, based on where you connect from. Where these games are not allowed, it shows no casino at all.
I assess every casino from the outside, without opening an account or depositing a single cent. I check that its licence is valid with the regulator and hunt for unfair clauses in its bonus terms. I make sure its games are not copies, then I compare the player reviews published online with what actually happens. Other checks stay confidential, on purpose. No casino gets into this button through the back door.
The publisher displays the logos of seven brands on its homepage, including a Nordic state lottery and two heavyweights of US betting. Those logos say nothing about whether these games are legal in your country, or about the licence of the site you are on. An operator that serves Fantasma Games without a visible licence soon ends up with the casinos I refuse to recommend, however polished its shop window. I apply this rule to every publisher, small or giant.

Alberta, the newest market on the list, only launched its regulated offer on 13 July 2026. It became the second Canadian province to welcome private operators, after Ontario. The gallery filter also lists Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Colombia, Croatia, Lithuania and Connecticut. No Fantasma game is attached to them yet, so their presence does not mean certification.
This count matches what Fantasma claims. On the studio's About page, the publisher mentions games certified in at least 20 regulated markets, and more than 200 operators offering its titles in over 25 markets.
Playing Fantasma Games where online casinos are restricted
In many countries, and in most US states, online casino games are simply not licensed. There, no casino can legally offer you Fantasma Games slots. The CASINO button therefore stays empty, as the law requires. You will still have access to the demos in the GAMES button, since no real money changes hands.
Fantasma has no certified game in Spain, Italy, Belgium or Switzerland. In Canada, the official gallery filter only lists Ontario and Alberta, not Quebec or the other provinces. In the United States, its games are certified in Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New Jersey.
If gambling becomes a problem for you or someone close to you, contact the free support service in your country. Licensed casinos usually link to it from their responsible gambling page.
Three checks before you play
Find the licence number in the casino's footer and look it up in the regulator's register, rather than trusting a logo alone.
Open the game rules from the casino and read the RTP shown, which should match one of the versions published by the provider.
Make sure the Fantasma Games name appears on the loading screen. I have already come across counterfeit NetEnt and Betsoft games at shady operators, and no publisher is immune.
Why doesn't a Fantasma Games slot have the same RTP at every casino?
Because Fantasma Games sells most of its games in several mathematical models, and each casino picks its own. RTP, or return to player, measures the share of stakes a game pays back on average over billions of simulated spins. At 96%, it means that €96 goes back to players for every €100 wagered, over the very long term and never over your Saturday night session.
Three values appear for 37 games on the official website, two for 10 others and a single one for the remaining 12. Which versions are available depends on the market. Zoo Busters, released on 8 October 2026, can run at 96.05%, 94.06% or 92.10%. Its official game page on fantasmagames.com lists all three. Across €1,000 wagered over your sessions, the expected average loss goes from €39.50 to €79. Double, for a game that looks identical.
The rules published on the website describe the highest version. For Zoo Busters, they state 96.05% for the base game and 96.15% to 96.34% for the paid options. The game's help screen, opened from your casino, should show the rate actually in use. If I were a player in a country where these games are legal, I would close the tab of any casino serving the 92% version straight away.
Calculated on the highest version of each game, the median RTP of the 59 games stands at 96.13%. Based on my 2026 data, it barely beats Endorphina's (96.05%) and sits well below BGaming's (96.70%). Prometheus Titan of Fire brings up the rear at 94.26%, while Hades River of Souls tops the list at 96.56%.
Bonus buys and Fortune Bet
Thirty-two of the 59 Fantasma Games titles offer a bonus buy, and seven offer a raised stake that the publisher files under the Fortune Bet label. In Cookie Kingdom 1000, this option is called Scatter Boost. It costs 1.5 times the stake and doubles your chances of triggering the bonus spins.
Direct buys vary widely from one game to another. Expect 60 times the stake for the free spins in Wins of Nautilus and 100 times for the Hold & Win in Clover Clover. The Super Bonus Spins in Cookie Kingdom 1000 cost 1,000 times the stake. These direct buys are not available in every market. In January 2020, the Gambling Commission warned British operators about such buys, one of which cost more than £3,000. The six operators it had contacted then removed them from their sites.
The RTP of bonus buys is sometimes higher than the base game's, 97.21% against 96.56% on Hades River of Souls. That flattering rate does not soften the jolt of the purchase, priced at 70 times the stake, or 70 spins in one go. Keep my safety rules to set before you bet close at hand. Decide on your limit once and for all, never in the middle of a losing streak. Buying a bonus to win back losses still loses money on average, since the RTP is below 100%.
The website also shows a maximum stake of €3,000 for its 59 games, which local law can lower. At the other end of the scale, stakes start at €0.10 on 31 games and €0.20 on 25 others.
In the UK, the law cuts that maximum hard. According to the Gambling Commission's stake limit guidance, slot stakes there have been capped at £5 per spin since 9 April 2025. For players aged 18 to 24, the limit has been £2 since 21 May 2025. Deposits go through debit cards accepted by UK casinos or e-wallets, as credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020. A licensed casino applies these rules without you having to ask.

In the Swedish register, the company no longer lists a managing director. Its board has a single member, EveryMatrix co-founder Ebbe Groes, plus a deputy. According to its published accounts, its net profit reached about SEK 4 million in 2024, or roughly €350,000.
Judging by its homepage, the publisher is live at 1,600 online brands and reaches a million players. That number of brands far exceeds the 200-plus operators announced on the About page, because one group often runs several sites. These figures are worth comparing with those of the other providers gathered in the atlas of every slot maker that I keep up to date. No register certifies them, so I quote them as the publisher's own claims.
History of Fantasma Games: from Stockholm to EveryMatrix
Fantasma Games has belonged to EveryMatrix Software Limited since October 2024. Before that, the studio spent eight years as an independent studio, three and a half of them on the Stockholm stock exchange.
Fantasma Games' early years with the major distributors
The Fantasma Games story began in August 2016 in Stockholm, driven by Fredrik Johansson and a group of video game and online gambling veterans. As the birthplace of much of the modern online casino industry, the Swedish capital was fertile ground for a team like this. The founding idea fits in one sentence. Build a slot the way you would build a video game.
Two years later, Fantasma found its first big table. In October 2018, it became the third member of YGS Masters, the stable of independent studios launched in March 2018 by Yggdrasil. Its first games there were expected in 2019. Fredrik Johansson showed his hand, promising slots that go beyond simple gambling.
The first breakthrough came in summer 2019 with Flower Fortunes Megaways. This game introduced Fantasma to the Megaways mechanic from Sydney, with a grid that grows from 6x5 to 6x9. On 8 July 2019, it arrived exclusively on the platform of the Isle of Man network with hundreds of operators, as Intergame reported at the time. It has since disappeared from the official gallery, a sign that the 2026 website does not tell the whole story.
Three months later, Fantasma moved up a level. From 7 October 2019, it was part of the Silver Bullet showcase of the Maltese aggregator, which committed to distributing some of the studio's upcoming games exclusively. Within a year, the young studio had taken a seat at three big tables of distribution.
The Stockholm stock exchange and the EveryMatrix takeover
On 23 March 2021, Fantasma Games listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, the growth segment of the Stockholm exchange. Each unit in the IPO combined five shares and four warrants. It sold for SEK 150, according to the share history kept by the Swedish tax agency. Enough to aim beyond Northern Europe.
Fantasma crossed the Atlantic in spring 2022. Its games went live in Michigan and West Virginia with a tier-one US operator, through the distributor behind its US debut, the Light & Wonder group. Soon after, European Gaming announced that Fredrik Johansson was returning as CEO, a role he had left for a commercial position.
The stock market chapter closed in autumn 2024, when EveryMatrix decided to scoop the pot. Founded in 2008, this B2B group supplies operators with a casino platform, a game aggregator and loyalty tools. On 18 September 2024, it filed a public offer at SEK 59 per share, or SEK 209.8 million (€18.5 million) for the entire share capital. According to the press release, more than 50% of shareholders had already agreed to sell.
The announcement also credited the studio with EBITDA of €395,000 in the second quarter, a 36% margin. The offer reached 95.2% acceptance on 11 October 2024, according to CasinoBeats, and the shares were delisted on 5 November 2024.
Fantasma Games under the EveryMatrix umbrella
Under the EveryMatrix flag, Fantasma changed role without disappearing. Its 2025 releases were announced by the group's aggregator, then called SlotMatrix. Gold Pigger is a good example, presented on 17 June 2025 as the studio's first major launch since the takeover. EveryMatrix would later admit that many people mistook this aggregator for the maker of these games. The tone changed in 2026. The Fantasma Games name went back to the top of press releases, and from 14 May the group presented it as its in-house game studio.
The shift became clearer in summer 2026. At the end of July, according to the account of the reorganisation published by iGaming Expert, EveryMatrix split its aggregator from game creation. The aggregator was renamed EveryMatrix Aggregation, and Fantasma was confirmed at the head of in-house development. The studio kept its brand and its creative freedom, with seven releases planned between August and October. Its website, for its part, was completely rebuilt in July.
This fate is nothing unusual on the Swedish scene. In late 2021, the Pirots maker now part of Light & Wonder fell into the hands of a US group. In 2022, Evolution took over Nolimit City and its xWays, another source of national pride in slots. Every takeover brings back one question. Can a studio's soul survive a group's balance sheet?
Another studio from the capital changed hands in 2024. A few months before Fantasma, the Stockholm label bought by Swintt in January 2024 had paved the way, with a less happy ending. Its original company went into liquidation at the end of January 2026 and was declared bankrupt in February. Fantasma's company, by contrast, is still active in the Swedish register.

The Fantasma Games portfolio in numbers
Fantasma Games only develops slots, with no roulette, blackjack or crash games. The volatility of its 59 exclusive games, meaning the balance between small frequent wins and big rare ones, sits in the middle of the scale. There are 26 medium volatility games, 16 medium-high, 15 high and only two very high.
Twenty-five games use fixed ways, with 243 to 10,000 combinations, while 22 use between 1 and 40 paylines. A ways game needs no drawn line, since you only have to land matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left. The other twelve use newer formats, with Pay Anywhere on six of them, variable ways on four and clusters on two. Six games also pay from right to left.
Bonus spins feature in 54 games, multipliers in 41 and fixed jackpots in 28. Cartoons, fantasy, animals, luxury and ancient Greece supply most of the themes, and Greek mythology alone inspires eight games.
Fantasma Games gameplay mechanics
Three families of mechanics stand out in the gallery. Most of them bring Fantasma close to the studios that tell a story before they tune the reels, with characters and powers borrowed from video games. Zoo Busters, for instance, drops a skunk bomb and piranhas onto its grid.
Pay Anywhere and cascades
With Pay Anywhere, a win pays as soon as eight or more matching symbols appear anywhere on a 6x5 grid. Zoo Busters, Miner Moles and Cookie Kingdom 1000 combine it with cascades, which drop new symbols after every win. Miner Moles pushes its multipliers up to 1,024x and caps wins at 15,000 times the stake, while Cookie Kingdom 1000 promises multipliers from 2x to 1,000x.
Elemento Dragons, released on 23 June 2026, plays a different tune on a 9x9 grid whose 7x7 core hosts clusters of at least five symbols. Four elements trigger their effects there, from the fire wild to the tornado.
Fixed jackpots and Hold & Win
Twenty-eight Fantasma Games titles feature fixed jackpots, which the publisher calls Fixed Prizepots. Their value is counted in multiples of the stake, from 10 to 100 times on Bonus Bullets or Zeus Power Partners.
Clover Clover spices things up with five jackpots that grow during play. Any coin dropped into its golden pot can raise one of them by 0.5 times the stake. Their caps range from 75 times the stake for the Mini to 5,000 times for the Grand, which only its wheel of fortune can award.
With Hold & Win, the grid turns into a safe. In the Clover Clover version, each coin that lands locks in place and resets the counter to three spins. The sequence ends when three spins pass without a new coin. Coins of Thor Hold & Win and Miss Rainbow Hold & Win even put the mechanic in their names.
With these capped jackpots, you give up the giant counters showing millions, but you know in advance what each tier is worth or how high it can climb.
Classic grids and a variable grid
Time for the purists. Bonus Bullets and Thor Power Coins play on a 3x3 grid with five lines. They follow the tradition of the heirs of the one-armed bandit, who prefer restraint to flashy effects. Fortune Climb: Sugar Baby, announced for 30 November 2026, boils the formula down to a single line on a 3x1 grid.
At the other end of the spectrum, Wins of Nautilus carries the Megaways label, with 324 to 117,649 ways. This mechanic changes the number of symbols on each reel at every spin. Medallion, for its part, varies its grid from 64 to 46,656 ways.
Upcoming Fantasma Games releases
Twenty Fantasma Games titles were released between 13 January and 8 October 2026, roughly one every two weeks. The official roadmap announces nine more, eight of them dated. Seven of these nine titles could already be played in demo mode on 20 October 2026.

Partner studios showcased by Fantasma
The Fantasma Games website also showcases 98 exclusive games from partners, under the RGS Partners label, named after the remote game servers that calculate outcomes for casinos. They include 40 titles from Spearhead Studios, another group studio focused on localised games. Armadillo Studios adds 35, Powderkeg Studios 15 and TaDa Gaming 8. Do not confuse them with Fantasma's own creations.

All playable in demo mode, these ten Fantasma Games slots cover the full range, from tame grids to roller coasters. The GAMES button and the official demos
The demos that the GAMES button will bring together come from the official demo server, which covers 56 of the 59 games. They support several languages, chosen when the game launches. On desktop, Zoo Busters greets players with a click-to-continue screen and a €10,000 play-money balance.
On a smartphone, the same demo switches to portrait mode automatically, shows a tap-to-continue screen and keeps its full 6x5 grid. The game library covers 32 languages, from Swedish to Vietnamese. Ideal for testing bonus buys in your own language without risking a penny.
Here is a little bonus for the curious. The demos are one step ahead of the casinos. Nothing stops Kynox's free demo sandbox from hosting a game before its release, since the publisher tends to post its demos ahead of launch. Three titles have no public demo at all, namely Snowflake Fortune, Fortune Climb: Sugar Baby and Catsino Royale.
Where to start depending on your profile
If you are new to Fantasma, start with Bonus Bullets or Zeus Power Partners, two medium volatility games whose biggest fixed jackpot is worth 100 times the stake. Their rules fit in a few screens, and you can take in their tiers at a glance. You will get a feel for Fantasma's style without burning through your play credit.
Jackpot fans will then head for Clover Clover, whose Grand can climb to 5,000 times the stake. Compare it with other jackpots you can chase for fun from rival studios, if only to measure the gap between a capped jackpot and a progressive counter. Only the RTP chosen by your future casino escapes the demo.
Bolder players will find what they want in Miner Moles and Cookie Kingdom 1000, the only two games rated very high volatility. Make them your practice slots first, because their bonuses can take a long time to land. Wins of Nautilus and Elemento Dragons, finally, are for those who like grids that move.
Is Fantasma Games legit?
Fantasma Games is legit from a regulatory point of view, with two reservations about transparency rather than safety. In its own name, Fantasma Games AB holds a Swedish game supplier licence, valid from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028. In other regulated markets, its games run under the licences of its parent company, EveryMatrix Software Limited. The group's Maltese licence, MGA/B2B/201/2011, appears in the fantasmagames.com footer.

EveryMatrix Software Limited

In the UK, however, the Gambling Commission's public register returns no result under the Fantasma name. EveryMatrix also publishes the list of its gaming licences, which covers Ontario, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia and Connecticut in North America. Alberta comes on top of that, since the AGLC granted the group conditional supplier approval in May 2026.
My first reservation is that no testing lab is named, either in the game rules or on the website. The Zoo Busters rules simply state that each game round is independent and that a malfunction voids all pays and plays. Since certification in a regulated market generally involves testing by an accredited lab, this silence looks more like discretion than a lack of control.
My second reservation is that the website sometimes contradicts itself. Its homepage counter shows 42 games while the gallery lists 59.
EveryMatrix, for its part, offers serious guarantees. In September 2023, it obtained the World Lottery Association's responsible gambling certification, and it operates in demanding markets such as Ontario and New Jersey. For you as a player, the real question is about the casino, not the publisher.
My Fantasma Games review
Fantasma Games is a serious slot studio that still has to prove it keeps a creative signature of its own. Since the takeover, it has relied on EveryMatrix's platform and aggregator, with 20 employees in 2024 against 36 a year earlier. Its 2026 output keeps up the pace, around twenty games in ten months, with RTPs published for every game and a demo for almost all of them. Too many publishers still neglect that. I would happily send a fan of readable jackpots its way, since volatility here is rarely extreme.
While preparing this article, I smiled at the house slogan. It reads "Slots beyond gambling" on the homepage, then turns into "Slots Beyond Gaming" on the About page. I have read dozens of slogans since I started in affiliate marketing in 2011. Promising to go beyond gambling has always struck me as a paradox for a company that sells it. Now that the studio belongs to one of the biggest suppliers in the industry, the line sounds more like a promise to keep than an achievement.
My main complaint comes down to three numbers. Depending on the casino, the same game can run at 96%, 94% or 92%. It is up to you to check which one you are playing. I far prefer a publisher that shows all three versions to one that hides its own, but I wish casinos would play fair just as openly.
One question keeps nagging me for 2027. As EveryMatrix's creative engine, will Fantasma Games keep its Stockholm accent, or end up speaking the standard language of aggregator libraries? I will come back to check its roadmap, release after release.
