ELYSIUM Studios slots: review, RTP, casinos and free demos

- Licences: the games run under the authorisations of Swintt Malta Ltd, issued by the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission and Sweden's Spelinspektionen, plus an AGCO approval in Ontario.
- Portfolio: 34 games listed on the official site as of 18 October 2026 (33 slots and one symbol roulette), 31 of them released by Swintt between April 2024 and September 2026.
- RTP: 92% to 96% in most cases, depending on the version the casino picks, with a variant close to 87% on five titles.

ELYSIUM Studios: Stockholm-born slots steered by Swintt
ELYSIUM Studios is an online slot brand born in Stockholm in 2020 and owned by Swintt since January 2024. Its name recalls the Elysian Fields, where the heroes of Greek myth found their rest. The games kept that taste for legend, from pirates to punk princesses and from Olympian gods to Wild West gunslingers. As the Maltese provider that owns the brand, Swintt releases its titles under the “Driven by Swintt” banner, at a pace of almost one a month. The ship has changed flags, not course.
In six years, the collection has grown. As of 18 October 2026, the official site lists 34 game pages: one roulette and 33 titles from the video slots category, each with its own demo button. Swintt has released 31 of them since April 2024. The latest is Veni Vidi Richy, and two more are on the way. The figures on this page were collected on 17 and 18 October 2026, from the brand's website, from Swintt and from public registers.
One point needs clearing up about the original company. ELYSIUM Studios AB, the Swedish entity, has been bankrupt since 23 February 2026, while the brand lives on with its Maltese owner. Your games are not affected, and I explain why further down.
At the top of this page, the CASINO button shows the operators licensed in your country that offer these games, based on your IP address. The list grows over time. If it stays empty, no legal casino I have selected offers them where you are yet, and nothing is being hidden from you. Real-money play is for adults only.
As for the GAMES button, it will gather the brand's free demos as they are added, with no sign-up and no deposit. A good way to get a taste of these games before you risk a single euro.
Which online casinos offer ELYSIUM Studios games?
ELYSIUM Studios runs no casino and sells nothing to players. Its games go through Swintt, which supplies them to licensed operators in each market. On 17 October 2026, the distributor's homepage displayed 103 logos of partner groups, brands and platforms, fifteen of them visible straight away.
To find a trustworthy ELYSIUM Studios casino, the CASINO button only keeps operators that are legal where you are. Before adding one, I check its licence, hunt down unfair clauses in its bonus terms and make sure its games are the genuine originals. I also cross-check player reviews posted online, because fake testimonials spread as easily as counterfeit slots.
Some names will never get through this filter. However generous their welcome bonus, sites banned from my recommendations stay out. I would rather show an empty filter than a shaky recommendation.
Then come the payment methods, which vary by operator and by country. In Sweden, a casino will often offer a mobile payment confirmed through BankID with your bank. In the UK, credit cards have been banned for gambling since April 2020. Online slot stakes there have also been capped since 2025, at £5 per spin and £2 for players aged 18 to 24. Check the cashier page before you sign up.
Is ELYSIUM Studios legit?
Yes, on one condition. ELYSIUM Studios games are safe to play when they run at a licensed operator. Since the acquisition, they have circulated under the authorisations of Swintt Malta Ltd, which is supervised in at least four jurisdictions. Here are the ones confirmed by public registers as of 17 October 2026.
| Regulator | Authorisation | Validity | Check |
|---|
| Malta Gaming Authority | MGA/B2B/745/2019, B2B critical supply licence, Type 1 gaming services | “Licensed” status | MGA verification service |
| Gambling Commission (Great Britain) | account 60473, licence 060473-R-335478-007, game supply and remote casino game hosting | since 16 Aug 2022 | public register |
| Spelinspektionen (Sweden) | game supply licence (spelprogramvara) | from 1 Jul 2023 to 30 Jun 2028 | licence register |
| AGCO (Ontario) | approval of Swintt and ELYSIUM games | announced on 27 May 2024 | Gambling Insider article |
In the UK, the register shows no sanction against Swintt Malta Ltd. It lists no entity under the ELYSIUM or Maverick name, though, and the Swedish register does not know the brand either. Its only regulatory guardian is therefore Swintt.
Fourteen flags appear on Swintt's market map, from Italy to Ontario by way of Greece, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. Yet Swintt's own company profile mentions twelve markets, and its press release of 14 January 2026 mentions thirteen. Switzerland shows up among the upcoming destinations.
Belgium, ticked on that map, is more puzzling. On 11 March 2024, Swintt announced its arrival at a local operator there, future ELYSIUM releases included. The open data on E licences names neither Swintt nor ELYSIUM, though, among the 163 holders listed on 16 October 2026. If you play from Belgium, check the operator's licence before any deposit.
Supplier licence and casino licence are not the same thing
A B2B licence allows a studio or its distributor to supply games, not a website to offer them to the public. Nothing stops a casino from showing Pirate Pledge in its lobby without holding any authorisation in your country. The supplier's seal does not protect you. Only the operator's licence counts, checked with its regulator.
Where online slots stay off limits
Not every country opens its market to online slots. Where no licence exists for them, no legal site can offer them. From such a location, the CASINO button stays empty by design.
Be wary of sites that offer these slots anyway to players in those countries. They operate outside any legal framework, and no regulator would stand behind you in a dispute. You can still launch the demos without worry, since they are played without real money.
Who is behind ELYSIUM Studios?
A Stockholm birth and a Maltese merger
It all began in Stockholm on 30 September 2020, with the incorporation of ELYSIUM Studios AB. The company entered the Swedish companies register on 19 October under number 559277-3740. Its stated purpose covered the development and distribution of online games, an unsurprising agenda for a young company in the Swedish capital.
The real engine came from elsewhere. In 2020, the company merged with Maverick Technology Ltd, a developer based in Malta. According to the press release of 26 August 2021, the merger brought a first range of games and its own remote game server, the RGS, then in version 2.0. Its offices were spread across Sweden, Malta, Bulgaria and the Isle of Man, and the development team worked in Sofia.
On the governance side, the release named Sergio Jacob as CEO, and Per Eriksson became chairman of the board in May 2021. Eriksson had run the Swedish provider behind Starburst during its years of rapid growth, a credential that carries weight in the trade. The company also announced a Romanian Class IIa licence, obtained in December 2020 through its Maltese subsidiary Maverick Technology. A Recognition Notice from the Malta Gaming Authority followed in May 2021.
Three years of first steps between Sofia and Stockholm
In autumn 2021, the Sofia team delivered its first game. Supa Crew, a candy-coloured grid packed with mushrooms and retro creatures, received eCOGRA certificates on 5 October for ten jurisdictions, from Italy to the Philippines. Fox Tale followed in December.
The year 2022 turned out far busier, from Spirit Hunters to Battle of Myths. With Dragon Roulette, launched in January, ELYSIUM joined the small circle of studios reinventing roulette by swapping numbers for symbols. Each of these releases appears in the studio's news section, which keeps their dates and details.
Distribution deals came thick and fast. In December 2020, the young company announced nine partner aggregators, from the integrator hooked up to the studio in its first year to QTech and BlueOcean Gaming. Slotegrator followed in November 2021, with five games at once.
Then the big distributors took notice. On 31 August 2022, the Powered By Relax network welcomed Battle of Myths, Wizardz World and Spirit Hunters. The programme gave the brand access to every operator already connected to the Maltese distributor.
March 2023 brought another showcase. In turn, the Fusion platform and its 14,000 games added Spirit Hunters, Sword King and Elysium VIP. Tangiamo soon prepared a land-based version of Dragon Roulette. ELYSIUM now held two major gateways to regulated operators.
Those launch years come down to a handful of dates.

The Swintt acquisition in January 2024
On 29 January 2024, Swintt announced the acquisition of ELYSIUM Studios, without disclosing the price. Founded in 2019 and licensed in Malta, the buyer belongs to the Glitnor group, named as its parent company by the trade press in 2022 and again in 2025. The acquisition announcement also recalled a little-known feat of the team, which had created the graphics and animations of Dragon's Luck for British studio Red Tiger. That training still shows in the way the characters are drawn.
The plan was to rebuild the games on the SwinttPlatform, then roll them out to every partner casino of the new owner, starting with I Hate Fairytales and Pirate Pledge. In the end, Tipsy Charms opened the series on 25 April 2024.
This fate is nothing new in Sweden, where slot studios often end up inside more powerful groups. Playtech bought a studio founded in Stockholm in 2011 as early as 2016. At the end of 2021, the Stockholm studio behind Pirots came under the control of today's Light & Wonder. ELYSIUM is following the same path, on a pocket-sized scale.
In May 2025, David Mann, then CEO of Swintt, painted a flattering picture. In an interview with iGamingFuture, he said that Pirate Pledge Hold & Win had outperformed every other game in the house. He singled out the UK, Ontario and above all Sweden, where the arrival of ELYSIUM titles immediately boosted player engagement. He also put mobile at about 70% of activity. A boss rarely boasts about the flops of his own acquisitions, so take this praise with a pinch of salt.
Mann has since left the company, with his departure announced in January 2026. Etienne Azzopardi, until then operations director, took over on an interim basis before being confirmed as managing director on 14 April 2026.
A bankrupt company and a brand that keeps spinning
Here is the angle that sales pitches leave in the shadows. According to registry data published by Allabolag, ELYSIUM Studios AB went into liquidation on 28 January 2026 and was declared bankrupt on 23 February 2026. Its postal address is now that of a Stockholm law firm.
The accounts filed with the register tell the story of a slow drain. During the first two financial years, net sales stayed at zero. Income of 1.0 and then 3.9 million Swedish kronor (MSEK) came from development work recorded as an asset. The loss grew from 0.9 to 2.5 MSEK, then jumped to 38.5 MSEK in 2023, including 35.1 MSEK of financial expenses. Financial assets close to 30 MSEK at the end of 2022 had vanished from the balance sheet a year later. Headcount fell to zero in 2024.
Yet this bankruptcy changes nothing for players. According to the studio's About page, the brand belongs to Swintt, which runs it, and the games circulate under Swintt Malta Ltd's licences. Your balance always sits with the casino, never with the studio that designed the game.
RTP and volatility of ELYSIUM Studios games
34 game pages and 31 Swintt releases
A count of the official site gives 34 game pages, all with access to a demo. They include 33 slots and Dragon Roulette, the only exception to the reign of the reels. Two of these pages feature games that have not been released yet, Grog To Hell and Wrap 'N' Roll.
At Swintt, the count follows another thread. Thirty-one titles came out between April 2024 and September 2026: ten in 2024, eleven in 2025 and ten in 2026. Eleven of them were re-releases of games ELYSIUM had already unveiled between 2021 and 2023.
The cataloguing leaves something to be desired. On the distributor's site, 30 titles sit under the Elysium Studios tab of the SwinttSelect range. King's Gold, Pablo El Diablo, Pirate Pledge Frozen Seas and Spooky Spooky are listed elsewhere. Anyone looking for the whole collection at Swintt would therefore miss four.
Sorted by Swintt release date, the 34 games from the official site appear in the table below. Five of them raise a problem: Fox Tale, Sword King, Wild Wild North, Wizardz World and Battle of Myths. For these, the max win stated by Swintt differs from the one on the original page. In those cases, the table uses the distributor's figure, the one for the version on the market today.

RTP settings chosen by the operator
RTP, or return to player, measures the share of stakes a game pays back in theory over a very large number of spins. At ELYSIUM, most games from 2021 and 2022 sit around 96%, like Fox Tale, Spirit Hunters or Battle of Myths. Recent releases often come in three versions, at 92, 94 or 96%. Five titles, from Pirate Pledge to Lolly Land, also offer a variant close to 87%.
Your session therefore depends on the setting the casino picked. In the Odyssey Hold & Win demo, the rules state an RTP of about 94.14%. Before you bet at an operator, open the game's help tab and look for that figure. Over thousands of spins, a few points of return separate an evening that lasts from a balance that evaporates.
Volatility and hit frequency
Volatility describes how a game hands out its wins: rare and heavy, or frequent and modest. The official site rates it out of five stars, and no title drops below three. Eight show four stars. Eight more reach the maximum, among them Battle of Myths, Law of Gilgamesh, Tipsy Charms and High Noon Duel.
Another useful marker, hit frequency, tells you the share of spins that pay something. It ranges from 11% for Odyssey and Lucky Lads to 37% for Pablo El Diablo. Max wins, for their part, run from 500 times the stake on Supa Crew to 33,934 times on I Hate Fairytales. According to the official pages, bets go from €0.10 or €0.20 up to €40 per spin, with Supa Crew the exception at €0.30 to €50.
These gaps weigh directly on your budget. Better to set your responsible gambling safeguards before the first spin than after the third top-up. With a five-star title, I advise starting with enough to absorb several hundred bets, or lowering your stake to last longer.
Mechanics born in video games
ELYSIUM claims a blend of conventions borrowed from social gaming, video games and casinos. Its games fall into four families. On a payline slot, combinations pay along fixed lines. A ways slot rewards any matching symbol landing on adjacent reels, and a cluster slot pays groups of touching symbols.
Then there is Hold & Win, everywhere in recent releases. Value symbols lock onto the grid and trigger a few respins, which reset each time a new one lands, until the screen fills up or the respins run out. Seven games in the collection rely on this principle, from Pirate Pledge to Veni Vidi Richy.
A house signature, the life bar keeps coming back from one game to the next. In Battle of Myths, a dragon and a tiger fight over a gauge above the reels, and High Noon Duel moved the fight to the Wild West in 2026. An old job ad, still online, even asked for skills in Godot or Unity, two engines from the video game world.
On the paid-features side, Pirate Pledge Hold & Win was the first Swintt game to offer a Bet Boost, which triples your bonus chances for a 60% higher stake. In Odyssey Hold & Win, the Super Boost raises the bet by 900% to multiply those chances by about 30. I Hate Fairytales, Spooky Spooky, Hood and Loot and Veni Vidi Richy also let you buy direct access to the bonus.
Giant jackpot hunters will go hungry, since none of the 34 game pages advertises a progressive jackpot. Fixed top prizes stay modest too, like 100 times the stake in Jungle Quest Morph & Win or 1,000 times for the Grand Jackpot in King's Gold Hold & Win. That territory belongs to providers of networked progressive jackpots, who play in another league. At ELYSIUM, the biggest wins come through multipliers.
New ELYSIUM Studios slots in 2026
The year 2026 has kept up a pace of one release a month. Launched on 20 August, Jungle Quest Morph & Win blasts clusters of symbols to open up a locked grid bit by bit. Four modifiers wait in its corners. On 10 September, Buffalo Thunderstorm let its bison loose on the Great Plains, between two totems that turn small symbols into big ones.
Veni Vidi Richy brings up the rear, unveiled in mid-September. Under a Roman dome, three tomb raiders hunt for Egyptian treasure. Each one brings a power to respins that combine in seven ways, with four fixed jackpots up for grabs.
Three titles are still waiting for their moment. Grog To Hell Hold & Win drags players into cursed waters, where a captain clones himself to trigger the bonus. Wrap 'N' Roll unleashes mummies and Anubis on expanding reels. Announced by Swintt, Dragon's Labyrinth promises a 4x5 grid that can grow to 7x9, a dungeon and dice to roll.
Play ELYSIUM Studios slots for free
A demo often says more than a table of figures. Until the GAMES button fills up, the official site's Games page offers a free demo for every title, with play credits. The demo room open to every studio then lets you compare them with other providers. Seven games sum up the ELYSIUM style well.
Pirate Pledge Hold & Win and its Bet Boost
A stormy sky, chests to plunder and Captain Red Beard at the helm. Released on 27 March 2025, this pirate game remains the brand's biggest hit according to Swintt. The captain and the pirate princess act as wilds and can cover their whole reel, while the Pirate Bonus starts with three respins. A cannon sometimes adds a reel and the princess can multiply values by up to three, before the captain tallies up. Keep in mind that a version with 87% RTP is in circulation.
I Hate Fairytales and its punk princesses
Forget the fairy tales of your childhood. Graffiti-covered castles, rock princesses and unicorns with rainbow farts blow up bedtime stories on 5 reels and 1,024 ways to win. In free spins, that figure rises to 7,776. In the Smash Bonus, you hammer bouncing creatures, then whack a giant unicorn before the timer runs out. Both bonuses can also be bought directly. The schoolboy humour will divide players, but at least it dares.
Odyssey Hold & Win and the hero's voyage home
Homer never planned for gold coins, but the return of Odysseus suits them rather well. The demo opens in English, from the sound prompt to the detailed rules, and starts with 500 play credits for bets from 0.10 to 40. Odysseus collects the value of every coin visible on a 4x4 grid. Three Athenas double the grid's height, and the ten free spins summon Calypso, Poseidon and Circe.
High Noon Duel and its life bar
Noon strikes in a dusty town, and two gunslinging legends face off. Pistol Belle and the Iron Cowboy clash on 6 reels of 4 rows with cascades, and each scatter from one shooter chips away at the rival's health. The winner of the duel earns their own free spins. Belle rains down wilds at the start of each spin, while the Iron Cowboy fires a giant 2x2 wild with his Gatling gun.
In both bonuses, a multiplier climbs with every win, and Lady in Black symbols turn everything between them into wilds. With five-star volatility, keep a steady hand on your budget.
Battle of Myths and its two max wins
Dojos perched above a rainforest, a green dragon and a red tiger fighting over a kingdom. Born in 2022 and re-released by Swintt on 29 May 2025, this mythological duel offers 4,096 ways to win on 6 reels of 4 rows. Cascades and a multiplier that climbs one notch with every win complete the picture.
The ceiling, however, is up for debate. The official page mentions 30,800.5 times the stake, while the re-release announcement stops at 8,482 times. Check the value in the game's help screen before you dream too big.
Elysium VIP and its expanding grid
Cherries, bells and 7s: the decor has the feel of old-school gaming halls. Named after the brand, this title starts from a very classic fruit machine with 3 reels and 3 fixed lines. Each wild diamond sticks in place and awards a respin, and two neighbouring diamonds add a column, up to a 5x3 grid. If you love classic-style grids, you will feel at home here, with a modern twist. Lolly Land repeats the formula with a sweet-shop setting.
Dragon Roulette and its symbol bets
Dragon Roulette replaces numbers with symbols, icons and characters. Its provider claims a protected concept and six side bets, including a Dragon Bet it says is patented, for betting on a specific pattern. At 97.3%, its RTP is appealing, but the wheel is not part of Swintt's current range. If you miss traditional roulette, Kynox's free-to-play roulette games give you something to compare. Tradition has its merits.
A land-based version with Tangiamo
In May 2023, electronic gaming table maker Tangiamo adapted Dragon Roulette for land-based venues. Abbiati, a roulette wheel manufacturer, designed a wheel decorated with the game's symbols. The official launch of this version was planned at the G2E show in Singapore on 31 May and 1 June 2023. For once, a game born on screen made it to the green baize.
Playing an ELYSIUM demo in your language
The Play Demo button on the official site opens a version hosted on Swintt's test servers, in English by default. Prefer another language? Add a language parameter to the address, such as language=fr for French, and most games switch over. Checked on 17 October 2026, the translation packages of 29 demos each hold 20 to 23 languages, from German and Swedish to Japanese.
A few demos are exceptions. Three older pages, for Supa Crew, Wizardz World and Dragon Roulette, still point to old servers. The Lucky Lads demo also showed a 503 error during the check. Finally, you are better off playing on a 16:9 screen, as the brand recommends.
The right ELYSIUM game for your profile
On a small budget, favour three-star titles that pay often. Pablo El Diablo, Fox Tale and A Hopping Kiss win roughly one spin in three. If you miss fruit machines, turn to Elysium VIP, without forgetting its five-star volatility. Pirate Pledge and Odyssey will delight Hold & Win fans, while big multiplier hunters should look at I Hate Fairytales, King's Gold Hold & Win or High Noon Duel.
Before choosing, nothing beats a trial session. Like the official demos, Kynox free slots can be played with no account and no deposit. There you can compare the ELYSIUM style with that of other providers at no cost.
My ELYSIUM Studios review
In fifteen years of affiliate work, I have seen plenty of Swedish studios shine and then melt into bigger groups. ELYSIUM is living a stranger version of that story: its company has disappeared, yet its games keep coming out every month.
The paradox shows right down to the shop window. The official site's privacy policy declares itself applicable to the actions of Push Gaming, another studio, and the terms and conditions still display the web host's sample text. This copy-paste amuses me as much as it worries me. It clashes with the care put into the games, their characters with real personality and their bonuses played like video game levels.
My verdict comes down to a nuance. The ideas are there, from the life bar to the expanding grid. Yet the real RTP depends on the casino, and too many recent releases drop to 92%, or close to 87% for five of them. Look for the most generous version in the game's help screen, and steer clear of the 87% one when it shows up.
That leaves the question of where the ship is heading. To place the brand among its neighbours, my index of every studio I cover lets you filter by game type. The flag has changed and the company has sunk. Grog To Hell, Wrap 'N' Roll and Dragon's Labyrinth will soon tell whether the privateer spirit can survive a big distributor's discipline.
FAQ: ELYSIUM Studios
What is ELYSIUM Studios?
ELYSIUM Studios is an online slot brand born in Stockholm in 2020 and owned since January 2024 by Maltese provider Swintt. Its games are released under the “Driven by Swintt” banner. As of 18 October 2026, its official site lists 34 games, made up of 33 slots and one symbol roulette.
Who owns ELYSIUM Studios?
ELYSIUM Studios has belonged to Swintt Malta Ltd, a game provider licensed in Malta, since the acquisition announced on 29 January 2024. The price was not disclosed. Founded in 2019, Swintt is itself part of the Glitnor group, named as its parent company by the trade press in 2022 and again in 2025.
Is ELYSIUM Studios bankrupt?
The Swedish company ELYSIUM Studios AB has been bankrupt since 23 February 2026, after a liquidation decided on 28 January. The brand carries on at Swintt, though, which releases a new game almost every month. Nothing changes for you, because your balance is held by the casino, never by the studio.
Are ELYSIUM Studios games safe?
Yes, when a licensed casino offers them. They run under the authorisations of Swintt Malta Ltd. These include licence MGA/B2B/745/2019 in Malta, licence 060473-R-335478-007 from the UK Gambling Commission and a Swedish Spelinspektionen licence valid until 30 June 2028. Always check the operator's licence as well.
Which online casinos offer ELYSIUM Studios games?
ELYSIUM Studios games reach players through Swintt's partner casinos, and Swintt's homepage displayed 103 logos of groups and brands on 17 October 2026. On this page, the CASINO button only shows operators that are legal in your country, based on your IP address. An empty list means no selected casino offers them where you are yet.
Can you play ELYSIUM Studios slots in every country?
No. Real-money play depends on local law and on the operator's licence. ELYSIUM games reach regulated markets through Swintt, from Great Britain and Sweden to Ontario. Some countries do not license online slots at all, and no legal site can offer them there. The free demos stay accessible, since no real money is involved.
Can you try ELYSIUM Studios games for free?
Yes. Every game page on the official site has a Play Demo button, with play credits and no sign-up. The demos open in English, and a language parameter added to the address, such as language=fr, switches most of them to another language. The GAMES button on this page will also gather these demos as they are added.
How many games does ELYSIUM Studios have?
As of 18 October 2026, the ELYSIUM Studios official site lists 34 games, including 33 slots and one roulette. Thirty-one were released by Swintt between April 2024 and September 2026, eleven of them as re-releases. Grog To Hell Hold & Win and Wrap 'N' Roll have been announced, and Dragon's Labyrinth is in the works.
What is the RTP of ELYSIUM Studios slots?
The RTP of ELYSIUM Studios slots usually sits between 92% and 96%, depending on the version the casino picks. Five titles do offer a variant close to 87%, though, and Dragon Roulette shows 97.3%. Before you bet, check the actual rate in the game's help tab.
What is the most popular ELYSIUM Studios game?
Pirate Pledge Hold & Win, released on 27 March 2025, is presented by Swintt as the brand's biggest hit. In May 2025, David Mann, then CEO of Swintt, said it had outperformed every other game in the house. The biggest potential win, however, belongs to I Hate Fairytales, at 33,934 times the stake.
