NetEnt has entered into a licensing agreement with Finnish gaming operator, Veikkaus. NetEnt will provide a wide range of its popular digital games to Veikkaus' online casino.
NetEnt has signed a client agreement with Veikkaus, a Finnish state-owned company, the largest and only licensed gaming operator in Finland, both offline and online, with a turnover of £3,231 million during 2017.
The company has more than two million customers and its www.veikkaus.fi gaming service is Finland's largest online casino, attracting up to 700,000 players every week.
After the technical integrations, NetEnt's award-winning games will be available at the Veikkaus online casino.
Henrik Fagerlund, MD of NetEnt Malta and Product Director of NetEnt, said: "We are very proud of this collaboration with Veikkaus, the largest gaming operator in Finland. The agreement represents an important step for our presence in the Finnish market and I am convinced that our exciting games will be very popular with Veikkaus players."
"We are delighted to partner with NetEnt, known for its iconic games and innovative gaming solutions. NetEnt's games have proven themselves and are constantly in demand by our loyal customers. We are excited to be able to offer them in our online casino in the near future," said Jan Hagelberg, Vice President of Veikkaus, Casino Games.
The planned commercial launch of NetEnt's online games with Veikkaus is scheduled for the first half of 2019. The agreement is for a period of four years and NetEnt's total estimated turnover for this period is between £5 and £9 million.
