Cluster Payout:
Cluster wins are achieved with at least five identical symbols that touch horizontally and/or vertically. After a winning cluster, the symbols are destroyed, allowing new symbols to fall.
xWays :
xWays symbols turn into normal payout symbols of size 2 and 4. If multiple xWays symbols appear on the reels, all xWays symbols reveal the same symbol. When an xWays symbol appears, it consists of either two full size symbols or four half symbols. This creates an offset that connects more adjacent symbols.
xSplits :
xSplits can only appear on reels 2 to 6 in The Border. It splits all symbols to the left and doubles the size of the symbol, converting into a Wild. xSplits can split Scatters, turning one Scatter into two Scatters. If more than one xSplit symbol is in the same row, the already split symbols will get an X indicator up to 64x. The value of the multiplier corresponds to the number of symbols on that reel.
xNudge Cluster Wild:
xNudge Cluster Wild is a wild symbol that can move up and down if it is part of a winning cluster. Depending on whether the winning symbol is above or below, it moves in that direction and increases the win multiplier by 1+ for each symbol it moves on. If the symbol has an xMultiplier value on it, it increases with that value. The boost continues as long as there are no other successive symbols in a Winning Cluster. If the xNudge Cluster Wild symbol has been split by an xSplit, it starts by adding its own multiplier to the overall win multiplier. The nudge symbol also retains its symbol value to avoid losing a cluster due to displacement.
xBomb Wild:
An xBomb Wild symbol replaces any other symbol except the Scatter symbol. An exploding xBomb Wild suppresses adjacent symbols, except for the Scatter and Wild symbols, which increases the win multiplier by one for the next avalanche. If xBomb is split, it increases the win multiplier for the next avalanche by the amount in which it was split. All xBombs will explode before the next collapse.
xCluster :
xCluster can only appear in Bonus mode. 2 or more single symbol clusters in the same avalanche trigger xCluster of single symbols from the second cluster onwards. The xCluster multiplier is instantly added and displays all current wins for that round.
Boosted xRIP:
For an additional cost of 50%, the player is guaranteed a Scatter symbol on reel 1 of The Border. When Boosted xRIP is activated, there is no payout for wins below the base bet. This does not apply to bonus modes. The payout for each symbol is not affected.
Mule Spins:
6 Scatters symbols trigger 10 Mule Spins. When xWays is part of Cluster wins, Cluster symbols on the same reel are infected before the xSplit and xNudge symbols are activated. xWays revealing 2 or 4 symbols infects them to split them into 2 or 4 symbols respectively. If you get extra Scatter symbols, the bonus mode switches to Coyote Spins, awarding 2 extra spins per Scatter.
Coyote Spins:
7 or more Scatter symbols trigger Coyote Spins. 7 Scatter symbols award 12 spins. Each additional Scatter symbol awards 2 extra spins per symbol. xWays symbols infect cluster symbols, but unlike Mule Spins, all cluster symbols are infected. All xBombs will add their multiplier value to symbols with an xX indicator that have not exploded. xBombs without multipliers will add 1+. The number of win multipliers will not be reset during Coyote Spins.
Seized & Destroyed:
The Border's maximum payout is 44,288 times the base bet. When the total payout exceeds this amount, the game round ends and a multiplier of 44,288 times the base bet is awarded.
