On 4 May 2018, Genii provider brought us one of its latest instant slot releases: Traces Of Evidence™. With a thriller theme this 3D video slot will put us in the middle of a serial killer investigation and the mores of a village where beliefs will mix and bring us more suspense.

In the small village of Queens, the corpse of a young girl has just been found on the banks of a stream with obvious signs of violence. With her body half-buried and her arms crossed, the forensic doctor can only conclude that the young woman is dead, if he is not mistaken she was strangled. But there is something strange about the case.

Inspector Laura Blanc has just been woken up by the commissioner who has just told her about the discovery. It's her village, people know her, she's not really happy to be going home, but she has no choice, she's been given the responsibility to investigate. She takes a few things, says goodbye to her husband, and sets off for Queens.

As soon as she arrives, the forensic doctor briefs her on all the details, this is the second one they have found in the same way. Moreover, the murderer leaves a cookie next to it as his own brand. The case is classified as too many clues point to someone in the village. We have to be careful!

Laura goes to see her aunt Rose who brings her up to date with the latest family news: Flora the elder sister, a very bossy character, the one who ran the family biscuit business, has separated from her husband Victor. He always seemed strange to her. He certainly had something to hide. Maybe it's professional deformation - she used to work for the FBI! The second sister, Gilda, was in the same line as the first.

Gilda suspected that Fred was cheating on her and she couldn't stand it. She had come to spend a few days with the aunt to make a decision. Aunt Rose was like her mother, more like her mother, because her mother had never put up with Laura, she beat her, until the day when her father had to take her to Aunt Rose's house to avoid the worst!

So many memories and most of them not really good, that's why Laura doesn't like to come to the village. But she has to investigate... Too strange this cookie next to the lifeless body... She has to visit her sister Flora to question her. Not many people make these cookies around here.

The phone rings and Laura can't believe what she's just heard: another crime! Another body that has appeared next to the stream, the same signs and above all the cookie! They have to have the flours in the area analysed to find out where these famous cookies are made. Laura leads the investigation as she knows how, brilliant, she always shows great professionalism but she fears that what she will discover will not please her...

Another call that startles the young inspector. This time it's her brother-in-law Fred. Laura rushes off to his house. It doesn't look good! My God, when she arrives at her brother-in-law's house he has a rope around his neck! Laura and her colleague free him and call an ambulance. He has a paper in one hand: a note is written with the name of the second dead girl, he says he can't live without her and the other hand has a bandage.

The story gets more complicated, now Gilda is going to know with whom she was cheating on her husband! Laura continues her investigation, but the best friend has just given her an alibi, they were both in hospital. Fred had punched the mirror in the bar where his friend had taken him to try to cheer him up.

A third girl has just disappeared. No time to waste! Laura and her team have discovered that there have been more crimes in the past, all of which have been closed. The only new element is the cookie next to the body! Laura doesn't know which way to turn! The circle gets closer and closer to her family's factory.

We have to find some clues. The inspector asks his subordinates to search all the newspapers before and after the crimes to see the events and especially if there are any coincidences. And after a thorough search, the policemen discover that there are motorbike gatherings in the vicinity every time there is a crime!

Bad memories haunt Laura's mind and she feels uncomfortable. She relives every day the horrors of her mother, who she thought was dead but in reality was locked up in a psychiatric centre. She was a monster and nobody wanted to take care of her anymore. Laura goes to visit her to ease her pain but in fact seeing her again doesn't do her much good.

Laura approaches the bed where her mother is but suddenly becomes hysterical. Luckily she is tied up! The doctor tells her that her brother-in-law Victor comes every week to bring her flowers and that he is the only one who can calm her down. That her mother was tied up because she had attacked a nurse and disfigured her.

The circle was closing in on Flora and Victor! When Laura talks to her colleague on the phone, he tells her that he has found pictures of Flora and Victor's sidecar in any case! It's decided! We must go to Victor's house and search it. It is necessary to find evidence and especially the last girl whose body has not yet been found: she might be alive!

Laura's colleague is the first to arrive on the scene, but he receives a blow on the head that leaves him on the floor. Laura arrives almost immediately and starts to search, she finds Victor. They start fighting, but Victor gets the upper hand. He confesses everything to Laura, thinking he's going to kill her... But behind him appears Flora with a gun who doesn't hesitate for a moment to shoot him several times.

Flora had just saved Laura's life and the last girl he didn't have time to kill! Backup arrives and discovers the scene: a body lying on the ground, a pool of blood, bullet casings and lots of police cars with their lights on... We've just landed on the Traces Of Evidence™ interface.
