Madelein Ozok has been at the helm since at least 2020. In April 2023, she took on a second role as head of bespoke and custom games, working with Games Global's other exclusive studios. Gold Blitz has a single representative. This six-reel slot with 4,096 ways came out on 11 November 2024 and shows an RTP of 96%. Aurum's website has at least one virtue, transparency. I went through the 70 pages of its official portfolio one by one on 7 October 2026. Each page shows the RTP, volatility, number of paylines or ways, minimum and maximum bets, release date and a maximum win. That cap is almost always expressed as an amount rather than as a multiple of the stake.

The verdict is clear. The 70 pages contain nothing but video slots, 40 with paylines and 30 with ways. With not a single table game or scratch card, Aurum therefore sits among the other goldsmiths of video slots that Kynox Casino tracks. Displayed volatility leans clearly upwards, with 26 very high, 18 high, 16 medium and only 10 low. Those low-volatility titles are almost all built on Mega Moolah.

An RTP gap of nearly eleven points

The median across the 70 pages stands at 95.035%. Eighteen games fall below the 94% mark, and seven of them drop under 90%. Those seven are all linked to a progressive jackpot. Take out the eleven Mega Moolah titles and the median rises to 96%. The record goes to Fishing Fever. Unashamed twins

Some game pages are carbon copies. Sweet Joker Spins and its Dutch twin devoted to herring share the same RTP of 94.06%, the same ten paylines, the same maximum bet of 25 and the same cap of 376,112.50. Is that deception? I don't think so. Aurum's bet is on the costume, not the mechanics, and the studio barely hides it. My only regret is that no game page says which sibling game it matches. A single line would be enough to inform players.

Two major North American brands received their own game in January 2025, one on Link&Win, the other on Rising Rewards. A loyalty programme that unites several online casinos even treated itself to a game for its twentieth birthday. Its cap of 1,822,500 is the highest in the showcase.

The studio also knows how to step outside the operators' circle. NIP, its oldest title, pays tribute to the Swedish esports club Ninjas in Pyjamas. A game released on 5 November 2020 also bears the name of Canadian electronic music producer deadmau5. Finally, Euro Striker came out on 11 June 2020. That was the day before the originally scheduled kick-off of the European football championship, which the pandemic pushed back by a year. Aurum holds no licence in its own name. Its games run under Games Global's authorisations, and I checked the British licence on the Gambling Commission register on 7 October 2026.

Last updated on 11 November 2020, the site's terms of use mention only the Aurum Signature Studios brand, with no company name or registration number. The domain aurumsignaturestudio.com was registered on 23 August 2019 and runs until 23 August 2027. On the South African side, Games Global publishes an access to information manual in the name of Creative Foundry (Pty) Ltd. The company is registered under number 2021/518491/07 and based in La Lucia Ridge, in the Durban metropolitan area. Grey areas in the official showcase

The portfolio is not complete. Several titles documented by Games Global are missing from it. 9 Gifts of Christmas was announced for December 2022 and Fishing Fever Bass King was scheduled for 11 July 2023. Joker Fire Frenzy is missing too, even though the distributor names it among the three games it highlights for the studio. That probably explains part of the gap with the more than 75 titles claimed in 2024.

The site also looks frozen. Its footer still stops at 2024, the last game page was published on 21 August 2025 and the most recent release date shown goes back to 31 March 2025. Nothing had moved by 7 October 2026, yet Games Global still presents the studio among its African partners.

A few errors complete the picture. The Enchanted Oceans page states a minimum bet of 0.30 in its specifications and 0.09 in its text. Joker Rush Power Combo and Majestic Wild Power Combo describe themselves as very volatile but show high volatility in their data. The 9 Bubbles Pop Epic Strike page embeds the same video as Joker Ice Frenzy Epic Strike, and River Rush only gives the year of its release. Finally, no game page mentions the available languages or the certification lab.

These gaps are nothing unusual. Plenty of studios in the gallery of providers Kynox Casino dissects do not even publish their return rates. Despite its oversights, Aurum remains one of the most forthcoming about its settings.

The future of bespoke at Aurum

On paper, demand is not slowing down. In 2023, Madelein Ozok explained that amid the flood of new releases, operators are above all looking to stand out from their competitors. She also saw artificial intelligence as a way to improve the production line. Both arguments favour a studio able to deliver a one-off piece within a few months.

The doubt comes from the showcase. Thirteen months without a new game page is a long time for a studio that once released up to fourteen games a year.
