Twisted Sister™ is here, and they are taking over! One of rock's most influential bands brings their own brand to the reels in a remarkable new slot from Play'n GO! Just as he did in a previous game: Black Mamba™. Led by the enigmatic Dee Snider, the band was formed in 1972, continuing to revolutionise traditional rock throughout the 1980s, using their high energy and entertaining music videos to establish themselves in the public consciousness. The game is a 6×6 cascading grid based on two of the band's most iconic songs, I Wanna Rock, and I 'm Not Gonna Take It.
Twisted Sister is an American Glam Metal, Heavy Metal and Hard Rock band formed in New York. Their work fuses the shocking tactics of Alice Cooper, the rebellious humour of British New Wave Metal (NWOBHM), the style of the New York Dolls and the extravagant make-up of KISS.
The band has a glam metal image and sound like classic heavy metal bands like Judas Priest and Motörhead, as well as some glam metal bands like Poison and Ratt. Dee Snider, the band's singer, said in an interview that he didn't think Twisted Sister was (Glam), because that implies glam, and they are anything but glam. He said they wanted to be called (Hor) (Hid), because they are horrible.
Although the band was formed by guitarist Jay Jay French in 1973, all their songs were written by singer Dee Snider. The band's hits include "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock", which would be featured in the online cash game Twisted Sister™ and both made popular by the continued appearance of MTV in the 1980s. Many of the band's songs explore parent-child conflict and criticize the educational system.
The Twisted Sister™ online cash game is presented on a 6×6 grid like in Raging Rex™ from the same Play'n Go software. All of the band members are featured as symbols on the reels Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda, Mark "The Animal" Mendoza and Anthony "AJ" Pero, as well as some of the band's symbols, a record, a pick, a badge and a record cover.
The Twisted Sister™ game has not one, but two Wild symbols, a standard stylized Wild and a Scatter Wild in the form of Angry Dad, the character played by actor Mark Metcalf in their videos and a symbol of the establishment they were rebelling against. The standard Wild will substitute for any symbol (except the Wild Scatter) to help create winning combinations along the game's paylines.
At the same time, the Twisted Sister™ Wild Scatter not only substitutes for any other symbol, but can also be collected to trigger the We're not gonna take it! There is also a huge 2×2 Mega Symbol that becomes active during the feature and will create winning combinations alongside the band members.
The Twisted Sister™ game also has several band features that activate when you turn on the charge meter. The meter is charged by any winning band member symbol that lands on the reels during a spin. For every five symbols, a charge feature activates at the end of the spin, with features occurring randomly one at a time.
For each Twisted Sister™ feature, a band member is randomly chosen as the symbol to trigger the features; if there are no band members on the grid, one of the other symbols will substitute. For Scream: The chosen band member will release a powerful sound wave that will destroy all band merch symbols around them, which will be replaced by more cascading symbols, giving you the chance to create new combinations.
For Go Wild from Twisted Sister™: The chosen band member will act as the Wild on the grid. Unite: All party members on the grid turn into the same symbol. Dad Gets Angry: 2 Wild Scatters are added to the grid on a non-winning spin. For We're not gonna take it: Players can trigger We're not gonna take it by collecting four Wild Scatters in the Scatter Collector, which triggers a free spin.
If more than four Wild Scatters are collected in Twisted Sister™, they will increase the win multiplier for the round. Once triggered, the Mega Symbol will land on the grid and begin to work its way through the reels to one of the Wild Scatters. Once it reaches the Wild Scatter and forms a win, the Wild Scatter symbol will disappear, this will continue until there are no Wild Scatters left on the grid.
As the Mega Symbol crashes on the Twisted Sister™ reels, new symbols will rush onto the grid in their place, giving you new combinations and the chance to win more, the mode ends when all the Wild Scatters are gone, and there are no more wins on the reels created by the appearance of new symbols. The group features are also always active during your free spin, giving you even more wins on the reels!
