The beginning of the band was in 1999 with the first five members Daniel Mullback, Rikard Sundén, Pär Sundström, Oskar Montelius and Joakim Brodén. Sabaton™ was born. They record their first songs in the Abyss studio. They first sign with an Italian record company (Underground Symphony) and release their first record (Fist for Fight).
Sabaton™ tours all over Sweden and after two years of waiting for their record company to release their album they break the contract they had with the Italians. Their third album was better than the other two and they were soon contacted by several international labels. They can choose the terms of the contract and decide to choose Black Lodge the metal division of Sound Pollution.
At the beginning of 2005, Daniel M Daniehlr returned to the keyboard and left Joakim Brodén as singer. The fourth album continued with the theme of war (The Falklands, the Soviet takeover of Berlin, World War I) and was released in 2006. After this album and a European tour the band returned to the studio to record (Metalizer) in 2007.
They continue their publications and tours, they even see their songs touched during the independence of Poland. They become more and more present in international festivals and release albums. In 2012, four of its members went their separate ways, leaving Joakim Brodén and Päl Sundström alone. In April Chris Rörland, Thobbe Englund and Robban Bäck joined the band.
In November 2012, drummer Robban Bäck left, he was replaced for the rest of the shows by Snowy Shaw and a year later Hannes Van Dahl would become the New Sabaton™ drummer. In 2014, the album (Heroes) is released with war heroes as the main theme. They become number 1 in Sweden. They announce a new tour.
On 29 April 2016 the band Sabaton™ announces that they are recording a new album that will mark a new chapter in the history of Sabaton™. The album was released on August 19 of that year, and in 2017 they announced their European tour called The Last Tour. This year 2019 they will start their European tour with Nuremberg in Germany and will end in Bielorussia on April 2, 2020.
Joakim the lead singer of Sabaton™ represents the wild and can substitute for all symbols except the scatter. Metal Stacks and Mystery symbols will be available in all spins, where one of the symbols will be chosen randomly, and a stack of that symbol will be added to the reels.
Any member of the band can appear as a mega symbol on the reels when the features are active. Chained reels can activate in each round. 2 or 3 adjacent reels are chosen and spin with the same symbol.
Chained reels are always active on the middle three reels during Battalion spins. The Land Stand feature can be activated in each round. 1 or 2 reels are chosen and each selected reel will be completely covered by wild symbols.
Battalion Spins will be activated by 9 scatters or a fully visible mega scatter (3×3), normal scatters or a combination of both. The Battalion Spins feature activates with 7 initial free spins and a symbol is randomly selected as Metal Stacks or Mystery Symbol for the entire feature.
Retriggering the feature will add an additional 7 free spins. The feature will end if the limit is reached! From 3 to 8 scatters are replaced with the symbol selected by the Metal Stacks and Mystery Symbol features. During the Battalion Spins the reels 2, 3 and 4 are always linked and spin with the same symbol. Mega symbols can land in every spin.
