October 2018, Nextgen software has just released a new 5 reels, 100 paylines slot. It's not common to see Wild West and ghosts mixed together, but the final result is not bad at all! The soundtrack puts us in the mood with its typical whistles!
In the middle of the desert a gang of outlaws shows up in a small peaceful town, they come to rob the bank because they have heard about its safe which is full of gold, the richest American lives there and has deposited all his fortune. The inhabitants are not used to seeing such hooligans because the sheriff doesn't let anyone through who wants to disturb the peace.
But the Colors brothers, Pink, Green, Red and Blue are not afraid. Everyone is afraid of them and they have left more than one village without inhabitants! They have come to get the gold and nobody is going to stop them, that's for sure. They had planned everything. They would arrive at night so as not to alarm the villagers. Hiding in an uninhabited house and after a few days they wanted to monitor everyone's movements so the plan wouldn't fail.
Pink is in charge, he wanted to change strategy as he was a bit tired of having to shoot everyone to get their way. So they were going to try something else, just for a change. But of course, they didn't count on the sheriff, who swore to protect the town with his life!
In the town there are posters with their picture everywhere, there is a price on their head, dead or alive, it doesn't matter, what everyone wants is for them to disappear! Because the terror that they sow throughout the American territory is absolute, it must end and quickly before others are committed by their thirst for money. They are specialists in bank robbery, but they don't know who they are dealing with in this small town at the end of the territory!
The four Colors brothers move into Clash's house, he has been gone a long time and his house is abandoned. They are going to rest because the journey was long this time, to recover their strength and especially to review the plan so that everything goes well. They are not afraid, but Pink has a bad feeling. He doesn't want to say anything to his brothers, but this time is not going to be like the others, he is sure of it!
The distance to the bank, the journey, the time, and yes they have to wait for the banker to be there to open the door, but early enough so that there aren't too many people around, for this one they want to try not to kill anyone, which is going to be quite difficult. Trigger-happy Green! It's time to rest, but something is wrong, Pink can't sleep, he just looks at his brothers and hopes that everything will work out as planned.
As soon as the sun comes up, Pink, Green, Red and Blue set off to rob the bank. They arrive at the village square and head for the bank. It's time... The banker arrives... They are all in place. What our four bandits haven't seen is that behind them the sheriff is there!
He orders them to raise their arms and throw their weapons to the ground, there's no point in resisting, but the bandits face him, they even snigger, how can one man prevent them from achieving their goal? They won't give in, that's for sure, but the sheriff calls them to order! It's decided: they're going to go all the way!
The sheriff is the best shot ever, and he is ready to give his life for his fellow citizens! A crossfire begins, never before seen such violence! Blue and Red are the first to fall dead, we hear the bangs from the other side of the city. Green has just fallen to the ground as well, only Pink remains, face to face with the sheriff.
They look at each other, hatred in their eyes, Pink swears vengeance for his brothers! The sheriff asks him again to throw his gun away, but Pink's rage overcomes him and he points his gun at him. Both shoot at the same time: they both collapse, the two shots have crossed and they have killed each other! The crowd around them gathered: the sheriff, the man who had protected them, lay dying on the ground, and Pink had not escaped the massacre either!
The souls rise from the 5 bodies and they find themselves transformed into ghosts! Unbelievable but true, they will haunt the town forever! The frightened people flee because they are afraid of what they see, they give up and leave the 5 ghosts to their fate, day after day the ghostly bandits and the sheriff will roam around the saloon and the bank: they are condemned for eternity to stay together!
Free Games are triggered when the scatter symbol, a large gold safe, appears 1, 2 or 3 times on the reels to reward us with 1, 5 or 8 free games. They are played in the paylines and with the bet that triggered them. On each sum won from the Polterheist™ cash game, the amount will be randomly multiplied by x2, x3, x5. The other Ghost Break-In and Haunted Wilds features can be activated in the Free Games.
The Ghost Break-In feature will be triggered when at the start of a spin a ghost may appear, and then the ghosts that appear will add stacks to the reels. All other symbols will become the same symbol as the one that appeared. This feature is available on all spins and Free Games, but Haunted Wilds Feature and Free Games cannot be won when the Ghost Break-In is on.
Haunted Wilds can be added at the start of each spin on reels 2, 3 and 4. They are available on all reels and Free Games, and if enabled the other features of the Polterheist™ slot cannot be triggered.
Payouts in Nextgen's cash game are made against the paytable and winning lines are multiplied by the bet. Only the highest win is paid in each line, but wins on different paylines will be added. The prizes will be from left to right on adjacent reels. Scatters will appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 and wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4.
