Peter Scudamore was born in the UK to a jockey father, Michael Scudamore who won the 1959 Grand National with the horse Oxo. All his life Peter wanted to distinguish his father's tenacity as a jockey and although he doesn't remember much about his career he felt a deep respect for him.

Before each round there is a possibility that the Random Wilds feature will be activated. It can only be triggered in the main game. The Random Wilds will be played in the same row of bets and coin values that triggered it. Between 2 and 5 horseshoes will be randomly placed on the spinning reels, turning the symbols into wilds. Random Wilds cannot land on other random symbols or scatter symbols.

Each horse has a different win multiplier associated with it that relates to the odds of winning the race. Each horse has two symbols that appear on the reels above the track that are the same colour as the jockey's hat associated with each horse.
Divine Fortune, a red jockey and red symbols will pay 5000 times the bet, Berry Max, a purple jockey and K symbols of the same colour will pay 500 times the bet, Gonzo's Quest, a green jockey and green Q symbols will win 100 times the bet and for Tin Foil Hat it will be a blue jockey and blue J symbols will pay 50 times the bet. At the start of the Peter's Classic Cup race, all four horses are placed on the track.
Whenever there is a win on the reels, the horse associated with the winning symbols advances one place on the horse race. The horse that advances 4 places wins the race and the Peter's Classic Cup ends. A horse cannot move more than one place per spin. If there is a win with two different colours, 2 different horses can advance at the same time.
The feature has a maximum of 2 winning symbols. This means that at most only two different horses can move at the same time but only one can win the race. In the starting box, the horse chosen by the player is marked with a star and the player can follow the leading horse. When the race is over, the horse that wins the race is highlighted and the winnings will be paid out and added to the bankroll.
