On September 26, 2018, GameArt provider, has just released a new Joan of Arc™ slot machine built with 5 reels, 3 rows and 243 paylines on the theme of the Middle Ages and one of our heroines who changed the course of history through her bravery: Joan of Arc, the Maid of Orleans.
Joan of Arc, born in 1412 in Domremy, is a 17 year old girl who claims to have been visited by the Holy Michael who entrusted her with the mission to deliver France from the occupation of the English. She managed to meet Charles VII, and victoriously lead the French troops against the English.
She helped to lift the siege of Orleans and lead the king to the coronation in Reims, which completely reversed the course of the Hundred Years' War. Joan of Arc was captured by the Burgundians at Compiègne in 1430, then sold to the English by Jean de Luxembourg, Count of Ligny.
Joan of Arc was condemned to be burned alive in 1431 after an irregular trial and many years later her innocence was recognised and she was beatified and canonised in 1920. This young girl of immeasurable courage was finally recognised for what she really was: a heroine!
With a magnificent graphic charter, the GameArt software plunges us directly into this Hundred Years' War, with a background full of mist, a half-destroyed standard, swords, spears and shields embedded in the ground, which immediately puts us in the mood.
In the middle of the screen we find the interface totally in symbiosis with the scenery, lively colours and symbols that remind us of the Middle Ages: swords, armours, shields... which is also combined with music with recorder chords - in short, everything to create an impeccable game atmosphere.
The highest paying symbols are 5. The image of Joan of Arc™ riding a prancing horse, one of her faithful knights with the standard in the background, the image of the castle, a shield with two crossed swords and the head of a suit of armour with also crossed swords in the back. The other symbols are those of a deck of cards 9, 10, J, Q, K in bright colours and decorated with symbols of royalty.
The wild is a white banner surrounded by gold and with the wild word written inside, it can substitute all symbols except the scatter, which is represented by Joan of Arc™ with a sword grasped and threatening with the bonus word. Grouping three scatter symbols will entitle one to ten free spins.
All the pay symbols in the Joan of Arc™ money game go from the leftmost to the rightmost reel, except for the scatter which will win in any position on the reels, plus the pay combination will be the highest. For example, if there is more than one winning line only the highest will be paid.
The features of the Joan of Art slot machine are three in number: Expand and Split , Bonus and Gamble we will expand and explain them in detail right away. They are simple but that doesn't mean they aren't interesting!
The first is the Expand & Split feature, any symbol framed by arrows in a winning combination will expand when there is anywhere on the Joan of Arc™ slot screen, a scatter symbol.
