Several YG Masters partners have already signed up to access Yggdrasil's established and well-known mechanical frameworks with Reflex Gaming the latest studio to take on the new proposition allowing it to incorporate popular features into its roadmap.
YG partner Master Reflex Gaming has signed an agreement to integrate Gigablox popular proprietary Yggdrasil™ mechanics into its future game development.
Yggdrasil's proven Gigablox™ mechanism has featured in several successful games, including Lucky Neko™ and Hades™, and Reflex Gaming will now be able to use the popular feature in its titles. The Gigablox™ structure allows the dynamic reels to generate gigantic blocks of up to 6×6 stacked. As well as leading to potentially massive wins, the mechanism also allows for GigaBlox™ battles, a truly innovative gaming experience.
Yggdrasil's framework offering is part of its innovative YG Masters programme, allowing studios to create and distribute game content using its groundbreaking GATI technology. GATI is a pre-configured, regulatory-ready development toolkit. It allows studios and game developers to apply a standardised technology to develop and distribute games worldwide.
Three of Yggdrasil's mechanisms, Gigablox™, MultiMAX™ and Splitz™, are available for partners to use in their content creation to help drive player engagement, player acquisition and retention levels.
Reflex Gaming joined YG Masters in June last year, with the studio's first game, Moley Moolah™, released via the programme in November 2020.
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programmes at Yggdrasil, said: "By offering our proven mechanics to our YG Masters partners, they can launch new games knowing they will appeal to global players. YG Masters helps our partners to quickly develop content for distribution to our extensive network of operators, while as part of our framework offering, studios can further elevate their portfolio. Our partnership with Reflex Gaming goes from strength to strength, and we're excited to see the upcoming titles they'll offer with the Gigablox™ mechanic to further fuel their success."
Mat Ingram, CPO at Reflex Gaming, added: "Through the YG Masters programme we have been able to streamline the development process, allowing us to focus on game design and launch exciting titles to a new audience. We have a full game launch schedule for 2021, with some epic releases to come. We are really impressed with what Yggdrasil has done on their games using these mechanics. Our game design team already has ideas on how to deploy these smart slot mechanics on our own upcoming games."
