Gaming1, a leading sports betting and gaming partner, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

Gaming1, a subsidiary of the Ardent Group, is a leading online and land-based sports betting operator focusing on the European and US markets. Its brands, including Circus and Zamba, will further contribute to the IBIA's global alert and monitoring platform. Gaming1 joins many of the world's leading regulated sports betting operators in the IBIA. The association's members alone account for €115 billion in annual turnover and 50% of the business of online betting operators.

Khalid Ali, CEO of the IBIA, said of the new partnership:

"I am delighted to welcome another big name in the regulated betting industry to our association. This allows the IBIA to further consolidate its position as the world's leading integrity monitoring system. The membership of Gaming1 and its many sports betting brands will enable us to significantly enhance our monitoring capabilities."

Sylvain Boniver, COO and co-founder of Gaming1, also commented on Gaming1's entry into the IBIA:

"Integrity in betting is becoming an increasingly important part of the licensing and regulatory processes in various markets around the world. We believe it is vital that sports betting operators work together to bring together their data collection and market intelligence capabilities to address regulators' concerns and protect consumers and sport from corruption. The IBIA, as the body responsible for overseeing the integrity of regulated operators, is the ideal partner for Gaming1 to meet our ambition to protect the market and our players."

The IBIA is the leading global integrity voice for the licensed betting industry. Run by operators for operators, the association protects its members from corruption through collective action. Its alert and monitoring platform is a powerful tool in the fight against corruption, as it detects and reports suspicious activity in its members' betting markets. The association has long-standing information-sharing partnerships with leading sporting bodies and many gambling regulators to use their data to combat corruption. The IBIA also represents the industry at forums on betting legislation with high-profile bodies such as the IOC, the UN, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission.
