Gaming1 wins 1 prize at the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards.

Good news from London on 8 June 2023: Gaming1 has won 1 prize for the first time at the EGR Awards.

The good news continues in the middle of 2023! On 8 June, the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards ceremony was held in London to reward promising companies in the games industry. Gaming1 was in the running with four nominations in two categories: the B2B Awards with the Employer of the Year and Safer Supplier awards, and the Marketing & Innovation Awards with the Best Sportsbook Marketing Campaign and Best Use of Brand Ambassador awards.

Gaming1 is extremely proud to have won the Best Use of Brand Ambassador award for its partnership with the legend Ronaldinho, its Time to Play marketing campaign and its Circus Cup, a free football match featuring football legends including the famous Brazilian. We're delighted to have won this award, as it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to working with incredible ambassadors from the sports industry to bring extraordinary experiences to our loyal audiences. The Circus Cup event with Ronaldinho was an opportunity for Gaming1 to bring players and fans together in a wonderful atmosphere of fun, team spirit and support. We are also very proud to have been nominated for three other awards.

Our nomination for Employer of the Year is particularly special for Gaming1 as it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a balanced and inspiring working environment where each and every one of our employees can flourish. This nomination is also the result of our wonderful employees who, every day, give their very best to make Gaming1 a unique experience.

We were also shortlisted for the Safe Supplier award, which is proof of the huge amount of work we put into making gaming ever more responsible, with the utmost respect for our players. This nomination was particularly important to us because at Gaming1, we make it a point of honour to make the safety of our players a priority. In fact, we have created our own player protection tool, which enables us to detect the risk of addiction.
