EGT Digital or Amusnet: who really makes your Bulgarian fruit slots?

EGT Digital and Amusnet are two separate companies, both based in Sofia. EGT Digital has been the digital arm of the Euro Games Technology group since 2020, while Amusnet was called EGT Interactive until May 2022. The risk of confusion is real. A casino can list two Shining Crown slots made by two different studios, and the same goes for 40 Super Hot or Burning Hot.

The confusion even reached the Swedish regulator. In proceedings closed in September 2025, EGT Digital had to explain that some games spotted on illegal sites came from other suppliers. Those games reused titles or references close to older elements of its brand, and Spelinspektionen left them out of its review. If the authorities have to sort it out, players can be forgiven for hesitating.

A company born in 2019 and renamed in March 2020

Legally, EGT Digital is the Bulgarian company ЕГТ ДИДЖИТАЛ ЕООД, or EGT Digital Ltd, registered under EIK number 205689811. The Bulgarian Commercial Register as relayed by Papagal tells a two-step story. The company was born on 4 June 2019 as Casino Solutions Interactive, then adopted the EGT Digital name on 16 March 2020. Its slogan, “Designed to perform”, now sits at the top of the homepage.

The group's story goes back further. Euro Games Technology was founded in Sofia in 2002 and describes itself as the undisputed leader in Bulgaria, as well as a key player in the international casino equipment market. Both companies share an address at the RichHill business centre, 6 Panorama Sofia Street. Vladimir Dokov runs both of them, supported at EGT Digital by Georgi Mihaylov, deputy CEO, and Anton Popov, chief operating officer.

EGT Digital's About page now claims more than 1,200 employees. That is in a different league from the 272 people recorded in 2021 in the data taken from the register.

EGT Digital and Amusnet at a glance

The two companies cultivate very similar fruit slots and often meet at the same operators. The table below sums up what sets them apart, based on their official websites and my Amusnet review.

In front of the reels, look at the jackpot displayed above the grid first. Clover Chance clovers or Bell Link bells point to an EGT Digital version, whereas a Jackpot Cards counter leads, online, to Amusnet's catalogue. Sofia is home to other families in the trade, starting with the Sofia-based maker of the EZ Modulo cabinets. Finding a certified EGT Digital online casino with the CASINO button

EGT Digital lists 42 countries on its map of jurisdictions, 40 of them for its casino games. Published on its About page, the map includes Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, as well as Brazil, Mexico, Peru and South Africa.

According to its announcements, the company entered Italy in January 2024, Spain in March 2024 and the Netherlands in June 2025. In Portugal, a press release from December 2025 already speaks of an established success. In October 2025, Georgi Mihaylov celebrated passing the 50-market mark, a count wider than the map and with no list to back it up.

In Belgium dice replace the reels

For Belgian readers, the case is the clearest of all. The Gaming Commission granted EGT Digital Limited an E licence on 22 May 2025, valid for ten years. I found it in the public register of E licences, updated on 16 October 2026, under file number 708502. This licence covers manufacturers, installers and repairers of gaming devices, as well as online platform providers.

To play, you need a different licence at the operator's end. A legal Belgian online casino holds an A+ licence, the online extension of a land-based casino, or a B+ licence, the online extension of a gaming arcade. The Commission publishes the list of active A+ licences and the B+ licence list, with the address of every authorised site.

EGT Digital designed a range of dice games for this very market, built for class B+. Nearly all these titles carry the Roll suffix: 20 Burning Roll, 40 Joker Roll, 100 Leprechaun Roll and around twenty others. The official site groups them in a Dice category of 27 games, all linked to the Clover Chance jackpot and published from 20 May 2025, two days before the Belgian decision.

At least one Belgian online casino has offered these dice games since December 2025. The recipe is not exclusive: a Prague-based dice slot maker applies it to Belgium too, and the section on dice slot providers lists others in this niche.

In Switzerland online play goes through licensed casinos

Switzerland also appears on EGT Digital's map. Since 1 January 2019, the Federal Act on Gambling has allowed Swiss gaming houses to run online casino games, provided they obtain a concession extension from the Federal Council. In Bern, the Swiss Federal Gaming Board publishes the list of gaming houses with an online platform, and only those addresses count. From a Swiss IP address, the CASINO filter therefore keeps these operators only.

Checking a casino licence in three steps

Before you deposit, three checks are enough to know whether a casino is authorised where you live.

1. Find the name of the authority, the licence number and the operator's company name in the site footer.
2. Search for that number or company name in the regulator's register, for example the A+ and B+ lists in Belgium or the Federal Gaming Board's list in Switzerland.

Why can the CASINO list stay empty?

From some countries, the CASINO button will stay empty, and that is deliberate. A library of more than 250 in-house games

As of 17 October 2026, EGT Digital lists 253 in-house games, made up of 239 casino games and 14 instant games, all playable in demo mode. The casino games page gives every title a Play demo button, and the total matches the 250 in-house games the brand has claimed since June 2026. The pace is picking up, with 73 new releases published in 2026 by 6 October, against 47 for the whole of 2025. A game can appear in several categories, and I left out the catch-all Top and Others sections.

Fruit and fixed lines inherited from gaming halls

More than half of the library belongs to the fruit slot family. Grids of 5 × 3 or 5 × 4, fixed lines, lemons, plums and grapes, star and dollar scatters: the recipe comes straight from arcade cabinets. The Legendary category lines up 29 titles in this vein, from Versailles Gold to Rise of Ra.

On the payline side, the 40-line format leads, ahead of 10 and 5 lines. This style has loyal fans elsewhere too, and other studios' classic fixed-line slots make a useful benchmark before you pick a side.

There is another sign of this lineage. EGT Digital's homepage showcases the providers in its aggregator, which claims more than 100 of them. The logo of Amatic, an Austrian fruit machine manufacturer still loyal to arcade cabinets, is among them.

Seventeen titles come in a High RTP version. On sixteen of these seventeen pages, EGT Digital states that these variants are not linked to any jackpot, which lets them offer a higher return to player. Yet no percentage is published, and the paytable in the Shining Crown demo says nothing more. If you are not chasing the big prize, the jackpot-free version makes the most sense. Bonus buys and cascading reels at EGT Digital

The modern side of the portfolio plays out elsewhere. Thirty games offer a direct bonus buy, from Hermes Fortunes 2000 to Power & Glory Athena. The five JumboWays titles vary reel height from two to seven symbols across six columns. Burning Eye takes the idea further, with a grid that widens from 3 × 3 to 8 × 3, which means from 27 to 6,561 ways to win.

The Ventura family takes the opposite approach, with a 3 × 3 grid, five lines, random respins and multipliers. Tiger Ventura joined Panda Ventura in May 2026, and the G2E 2026 stand was already showing Gecko, Rabbit and Ox Ventura, still missing from the official list on 17 October 2026.

From roulette to instant games by way of crash

European Roulette, released in July 2026, is still the only table game in the library. Its main layout comes with a racetrack for call bets, Voisins du Zéro included. Every single-zero wheel in demo mode in my roulette section also runs without a deposit, if you want to compare layouts.

Xride, online since March 2023, turns the crash game into a hot-air balloon. The multiplier climbs with the balloon, and you have to cash out before it flies off, while watching other connected players' results live. The concept obviously recalls the flagship title from the Tallinn-based creator of Aviator, with a balloon instead of a plane.

Mines X High RTP completes the shelf with grids from 3 × 3 to 9 × 9, where every diamond you collect brings you closer to a mine. These two titles put EGT Digital among the crash and mines game providers, although its presence in this field remains very light.

Fourteen instant games complete the offer, from Rusty's Lucky Gold Mine to Egypt Glory. They all display 96% RTP, with maximum wins of 1,000 to 10,000 times the stake and an Instant Link jackpot shared across several games. This is the only place on the site where EGT Digital publishes a payout rate. Burning Hot Instant, filed among the casino games, gives the idea a scratch-ticket twist, and this small shelf brings EGT Digital closer to instant scratch game studios, a world very close to lotteries.

Bell Link and Clover Chance: six jackpots grafted onto the reels

Out of 239 casino games, EGT Digital links 221 to an in-house jackpot. Six systems share these titles, all described on the provider's jackpot page, and only the 17 High RTP titles and Xride do without one.

In my view, this is where the company's real know-how lies. Shining Crown comes with Clover Chance, with Bell Link, in Deluxe and in Cash Heat, while 40 Super Hot comes with a progressive jackpot, with Bell Link and with Bell Link Boost. The grid hardly changes, yet the thrill is something else entirely.

Clover Chance dominates with 178 games, three quarters of the library. It is a mystery jackpot that, according to the demo paytable, triggers at random at the end of a base spin or a free spin. Bell Link and High Cash, two common designs in the gallery of jackpot slot providers, work differently. Two progressive levels are fed by several games, two fixed levels belong to each title, and the top tiers grow with stakes across the whole network.

The Clover Chance jackpot unpacked in the Shining Crown demo

To understand the mechanics, the paytable in the Shining Crown demo beats any sales brochure. When the jackpot triggers, you pick from 15 chests. Twelve hold coloured pearls, one colour per level. The others hide a clover that bumps the prize up to the next level once three matching pearls are collected. The feature ends as soon as a level lands, and only one level can be won per trigger.

Black Clover Bell Link and the other award-winning games

Black Clover Bell Link was ranked Europe's best new slot three months in a row, in March, April and May 2026, in Eilers & Krejcik Gaming's performance reports. Black Lounge Bell Link, another title in the series, was named Best New Game Release 2026 at the SiGMA North America Awards, as reported by Focus Gaming News.

EGT Digital holds three licences that I was able to verify in public registers, in Belgium, Sweden and Gibraltar. It declares or announces nine more. Its Licences and Certificates page lists ten, along with four certificates and two memberships, without a single number. I looked up every authorisation in the registers available on 17 October 2026, and the table separates what I could cross-check from what remains a simple statement by the company.

On the certification side, EGT Digital displays the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard for information security, the GLI and Gaming Associates labs, and the Bulgarian Institute of Metrology. It is a member of the Bulgarian Gaming Association and, since June 2026, an associate member of the World Lottery Association.

The Swedish warning of September 2025

On 17 September 2025, Spelinspektionen issued EGT Digital a warning along with a fine of SEK 5,000, the legal minimum. The decision 25Si1037 published by the Swedish regulator sets out the facts. During a check on 9 May 2025, its games were running on sites banned in Sweden. The company explained that the link went through an international distribution partner it had not authorised. It reported on 23 May 2025 that it had fixed the situation.

The regulator considered the breach serious. It took the quick fix into account and stuck to the minimum, all the more so as EGT Digital declared no Swedish revenue for 2024. The episode illustrates a point I often make: a reputable game on a site says nothing about whether that site is legal.

The X-Nave platform also distributes the competition

X-Nave is EGT Digital's iGaming platform. It brings together a sportsbook, a game aggregator, a CRM engine and a payment gateway, which operators can take together or separately. In 2026, the aggregator claims more than 20,000 games from over 200 providers, a figure that has swung by a factor of two between announcements since 2024.

The list of integrated studios has to be pieced together from press releases, like a jigsaw puzzle whose box EGT Digital never publishes. It opens in July 2020 with Playson, the Hold and Win specialist that came in as the first content partner. The Prague studio on board since November 2020, Endorphina, saw its deal extended to the new platform in June 2022, and European Gaming reported the first deal back in late 2020.

Deals picked up pace after that. The 7777 Gaming studio arrived in September 2022 with more than 100 titles, Skywind followed in October, and a Swedish slot studio, Gaming Corps, joined in spring 2025. The table gives the full timeline.

On the payment side, the gateway, PCI-DSS certified according to the provider, lists 38 payment methods. They range from bank cards to e-wallets, with PIX for Brazil, SPEI for Mexico and a cryptocurrency option.

My verdict on EGT Digital and its old-school jackpots

EGT Digital wins you over with jackpot-topped fruit slots and demos open to everyone. It disappoints on one specific point, the transparency of its return rates.

I have a soft spot for manufacturers that do not turn their backs on their roots. EGT Digital could have packed its fruit away in the attic to chase the latest trend. It kept it, dressed it up with clever jackpots and opened its demos with no account and no form. For a careful player, that is precious. You can understand Clover Chance and compare a jackpot version with its High RTP twin before you deposit a cent. The Belgian licence, verifiable in two clicks, and the Swedish authorisation valid until 2029 add a real layer of credibility.

My doubts concern transparency. No slot displays its return to player, whereas the instant games do. The showcase figures also shift from one press release to the next, whether it is the number of aggregated providers or the markets covered.

Finally, the game pages betray rushed data entry, with no consequence for your wallet. You will come across a format labelled “Dinâmico” and a crash game described as a “5 x 6” cascading grid. A High RTP version published on 6 October 2026 still boasts about the Clover Chance jackpot it is not supposed to carry.

One question keeps nagging at me. On the day Amusnet and EGT Digital each offer a 40 Super Hot in the same casino, which one will the operator push, and on what grounds? I do not have the answer. I only know where to look: above the reels, where the jackpot is displayed.
