Blue Guru casino provider rebranded as Slammer Studios
Key points about the Blue Guru gaming provider
- Identity: Blue Guru Games is a Maltese video slot studio whose launch was announced on 3 May 2021. Andrew Braithwaite was its CEO and co-founder.
- Shareholder: the studio was born inside the investment arm of a Swedish online casino operator, which owned 85% of it. That operator was bought in 2022 by a US casino-resort giant from Las Vegas.
- New name: Blue Guru Games was renamed Slammer Studios in autumn 2024, with no bankruptcy and no sale. The Maltese company kept its registration number, C99079.
- Proof: the list of subsidiaries filed with the SEC on 18 February 2025 names “Slammer Studios Limited (fka Blue Guru Games Ltd.)”, meaning formerly known as Blue Guru Games.
- Distribution: in February 2022, Blue Guru joined the Blue Horn programme of ORYX Gaming, a Bragg group subsidiary. Ten days later, Relax Gaming welcomed it into its Silver Bullet programme.
- Game library: sixteen slots are documented between April 2022 and September 2024, from The Nemean Lion to Freaked Out Fish. Six of them still have a page on the Slammer Studios website, but no menu leads to them.
- Vs series: launched in December 2022 with Napoleon Vs Rabbits and continued in 2023 with Aussies Vs Emus, it pits a historical figure against animals. Slammer Studios extended it with Magawa Vs Mines in November 2024.
- RTP: on the six pages still online, each title comes in two versions, and the operator picks one. The high version ranges from 95.45% to 96.10%, while the low one drops to 85.97%.
- Licences: the company holds the Maltese licence MGA/B2B/1037/2023 and a Swedish gaming provider licence valid from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028. Since 4 August 2026, it has also held a remote licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
- Restructuring: since 12 August 2026, Slammer Studios says it develops exclusively for its group's brands and for a North American online betting brand linked to its parent company.
- Local rules: online slots are only legal where a regulator licenses online casinos. Several countries and most US states allow online sports betting but not casino games.
Blue Guru casino provider and its transformation into Slammer Studios
Blue Guru Games is a Maltese video slot studio, set up in 2021 by the investment arm of a Swedish online casino operator and renamed Slammer Studios in 2024. For two and a half years, its games reached operators' lobbies through Relax Gaming's Silver Bullet distribution network and through the Bragg group's ORYX platform. The brand faded out in autumn 2024, with no bankruptcy and no sale, to make way for its new name. The company itself never changed its number on the Maltese register.
This page about the Blue Guru casino provider works as an archive of its story. It follows the young studio from its creation in spring 2021 to the restructuring of summer 2026, which turned Slammer Studios into a supplier reserved for its own group's brands. You won't find a CASINO button or a GAMES filter here, since the Blue Guru name no longer refers to any active studio. All the data was collected on 13 October 2026 from public registers, the Slammer Studios website and the trade press.
The link between the two names isn't a hunch. The list of subsidiaries that the group's American parent company filed with the SEC on 18 February 2025 refers to the company as “Slammer Studios Limited (fka Blue Guru Games Ltd.)”. The three letters fka stand for “formerly known as”, which means the company used to go by the name Blue Guru Games.
What's left of Blue Guru in 2026?
All that remains of Blue Guru Games is a renamed company, six game pages and a silent domain name. The brand gave way to Slammer Studios in the fourth quarter of 2024, and the legal entity behind it now holds authorisations in Malta, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Since its About page was updated on 12 August 2026, Slammer Studios says it works exclusively for its group's brands and for a North American online betting brand linked to its parent company. The six titles from the Blue Guru era can still be reached by direct URL on its website, though no menu leads to them.
The original domain, bluegurugames.com, no longer responds, even though it is registered until 23 January 2027. As of 13 October 2026, its name servers refuse queries and no page loads. To piece its story together, I cross-checked registers, web archives and press releases, as I do for every entry in my directory of active and defunct studios. The whole story fits in one sentence. A studio born to serve its shareholder went out to sell to the market, then came home under another name.
Why does this page offer no casino or demo?
No online casino will be suggested to you on this page, and that is no oversight. Blue Guru Games no longer exists under that name, and since summer 2026 the company that inherited it has kept its output for its own group's brands. Showing a CASINO button would mean steering you towards operators that no longer receive anything new from the studio. Demos follow the same logic, so I don't offer any.
You can, however, practise on similar mechanics without staking a penny. Kynox Casino's free demo area brings together titles from developers that are still active, all playable with no deposit. Real-money play is another matter, and the answer depends on where you live. Online slots are only legal where a regulator licenses online casinos, and several countries and most US states allow online sports betting but not casino games. Kynox only ever shows casinos licensed for your location, and on this page it shows none.
An in-house studio born at a Swedish operator in 2021
The story begins on 3 May 2021. That day, a Swedish online casino operator, then listed in Stockholm, announced the birth of Blue Guru Games through its investment arm, which held 85% of the new venture. The studio started out with a team of more than twenty people and over twenty years of experience in game development. The roadmap did not lack ambition, with at least twenty games in twenty-four months, exclusives for the group's brands and titles sold to other operators.
The schedule slipped by a few months. The first games had been promised for the end of 2021 but only arrived the following spring, and the press release of 22 April 2022 described a thirty-strong team with its sights on the US market. Andrew Braithwaite, CEO and co-founder, celebrated the release of the first game, and US launches were promised for the second half of the year. The shareholder, for its part, already presented Blue Guru as an independent studio within its investment portfolio. In-house and independent at once, that label sums up the whole ambiguity of the project.
A team scattered from Malta to Estonia
Blue Guru never looked like a small neighbourhood workshop. Interviewed by CasinoBeats in March 2022, chief business development officer Liam Mulvaney described a studio based in Malta with a full production studio in Asia, audio facilities in the United Kingdom and a dedicated European branch in Estonia. At the time, the first games aimed at the United States were due to go through Bragg later that year.
Blue Guru's geography holds a nice coincidence. Estonia is home to other slot workshops, including this Tallinn studio renamed without a single press release, a distant cousin of Blue Guru in the art of changing names. On the audio side, Blue Guru signed in April 2022 with ReelTrax, a specialist in slot sound design, to score The Nemean Lion and Octopus Armada. Andrew Braithwaite wanted the sound to be as polished as the visuals, and several later press releases would praise the soundscapes of its releases.
Storytelling above all
Blue Guru's signature came down to one promise, telling a story with every spin. Mythology, history, folk tales, spirituality, esotericism. Liam Mulvaney laid claim to these five territories in 2022. He wanted Blue Guru to become the Ben & Jerry's of iGaming, a brand committed to wellbeing and social responsibility. He saw the slot market as saturated and promised not to add to the noise. Andrew Braithwaite summed up the house philosophy with a question that became a motto, “What would the Guru do?” The rest of the story suggests the Guru sometimes wavered between wisdom and a bluff.
Reaching operators through Relax and ORYX
A studio without a network is like a table without players. So Blue Guru knocked on two doors in early 2022, a few days apart. The first opened on 7 February at ORYX Gaming, a subsidiary of the Bragg group, which announced it would distribute the studio's titles through its Blue Horn exclusives programme, starting with The Nemean Lion. The press release issued by Bragg presented Blue Guru as a band of friends and industry veterans who came together in 2021. Among them were a former head of games and former casino and studio managers who had worked for major operators across Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and Asia.
Bragg made no secret of its enthusiasm. Doug Fallon, the group's head of content and founder of a Las Vegas studio that became a Bragg subsidiary, praised the design quality of the games and said he expected a great deal from the partnership. Ten days later, on 17 February, Relax Gaming in turn brought Blue Guru into its Silver Bullet programme, according to the announcement reported by Gaming Intelligence. Simon Hammon, Relax's head of product at the time, saw it as proof that his platform could lift its partners in front of top-tier operators.
This two-pronged distribution shaped the developer's entire life. The 2022 press releases alternate between the two channels. Treasure of Tengshe in August and Clash of the Seraphim in September went out on the ORYX platform, while Curse of the Mummies in June and Spring Heeled Jack in October came through the Relax network. Book of Thieves, in April 2023, was still presented as powered by Bragg. Slammer Studios would later take the same road, signing with Relax in its turn in December 2024.
Blue Guru's game library in sixteen titles
Sixteen Blue Guru Games titles are documented by the trade press and official game pages between April 2022 and September 2024, a little more than one game every two months. Andrew Braithwaite claimed ten releases between June and December 2022, yet I can only find seven in the press releases picked up by the media over that period. This collection places Blue Guru among the video slot providers listed on Kynox, with no table games and no live casino. The table below lists the titles documented as of 13 October 2026, with the announcement or release date, the published format and the distribution partner cited.
| Title | Announced or released | Published format | Distribution cited | Theme |
|---|
| The Nemean Lion | announced 21/04/2022 | not published | ORYX, Blue Horn programme | first of the Labours of Hercules |

| Terracotta Army | 06/09/2023 according to its page, 26/09/2023 according to the announcement | 5x3, 243 to 30,375 ways | not cited | Qin Shi Huang's terracotta army |
| Aussies Vs Emus | announced 07/11/2023, released 14/12/2023 according to its page | 7x7 cluster pays grid | not cited | the 1932 Emu War |
| St. Louis 1904 | released 18/07/2024 | 5x3 | not cited | the 1904 Olympic marathon |
| Freaked Out Fish | announced 22/08/2024, released 26/09/2024 according to its page | 7x7 cluster pays grid | not cited | psychedelic fish |
Two architectures dominate this collection. The classic 5x3, with paylines or 243 ways, sits alongside 7x7 cluster pays grids, kept for some of the studio's wildest ideas. Mechanics echo from one title to the next, with mystery symbols, multipliers that climb during free spins and, on most releases from autumn 2022 onwards, a bonus buy.
The Vs series and the art of laughing at history
Blue Guru's best idea fits in two letters. With Napoleon Vs Rabbits, released in December 2022, the team launched a Vs series that pits a historical figure against animals, based on an anecdote that is true, or nearly so. The concept worked so well that Slammer Studios still lays claim to it.
Napoleon Vs Rabbits and the rout of 1806
The official game page sets the scene in 1806. To celebrate a victory over Prussia, the Minister of War organised a hunt for the Emperor and had around a thousand rabbits rounded up, tame ones rather than wild. Once released on the estate, the animals reportedly charged at Napoleon and his entourage instead of fleeing, until the Emperor had to take refuge in his carriage. The game turns this rout into pixel art on a cascading 7x7 grid, with a Rabbit Run feature that sends rabbits racing towards the Napoleon wild, scattering mystery symbols along the way. The page lists a volatility of 5 out of 5 and a maximum win of 4,764 or 3,894 times the stake, depending on the version.
Aussies Vs Emus and the emus' revenge
Announced in November 2023, the sequel takes the birds' side. It revisits the Emu War, the military operation carried out in Western Australia in late 1932 against emus that were ravaging crops. Its gunners, armed with Lewis machine guns, went home without a victory, twice in a row. The game tells a third round from the emus' point of view, with mystery dynamite crates, a global multiplier and a bonus buy at 100 times the stake. The page shows a volatility of 5 out of 5 and a maximum win of 14,234 or 16,239 times the stake. If the cluster mechanic intrigues you, slots in trial mode from other developers let you get the hang of it without risking a penny. I'll admit a soft spot for this choice of telling history from the side of the feathered losers. That humour is missing from reels crowded with pharaohs and Norse gods, even if Blue Guru also paid its dues to the mummies.
St. Louis 1904 and the craziest marathon in history
The studio took the concept into sport with St. Louis 1904, released on 18 July 2024. The game draws on the St. Louis Olympic marathon, which Smithsonian Magazine describes as perhaps the strangest ever run. Fred Lorz covered roughly eleven miles by car before crossing the line first, then being disqualified. Félix Carvajal took a nap mid-race after eating rotten apples, and Len Tau was chased off the course by a wild dog. The game's modifiers borrow these episodes almost word for word, with the cheat's car, the rotten apples and a pack of dogs, on a 5x3 grid billed at a volatility of 10 out of 10 and a maximum win of 10,000 times the stake.
What RTP do Blue Guru slots offer?
Blue Guru published several return-to-player rates for each game, leaving operators to choose the version. The RTP measures the theoretical share of stakes paid back to players over a very large number of rounds, and the gap between two versions of the same title sometimes approaches ten points. On the six Blue Guru-era pages still online at Slammer Studios as of 13 October 2026, the high version ranges from 95.45% to 96.10%, while the low version drops as far as 85.97%.
| Title | Published RTPs | Stated volatility | Stated maximum win |
|---|
| Curse of the Mummies | 89.99% or 95.96% | 5 out of 5 | 7,299x or 12,532x |
| Napoleon Vs Rabbits | 94% or 95.45% | 5 out of 5 | 4,764x or 3,894x |
| Terracotta Army | 90.06% or 96.06% | 5 out of 5 | 10,000x |
| Aussies Vs Emus | 89.75% or 96.10% | 5 out of 5 | 14,234x or 16,239x |
| St. Louis 1904 | 85.97% or 95.92% | 10 out of 10 | 10,000x |
| Freaked Out Fish | 86.08% or 96.02% | 8 out of 10 | 3,894x |
These figures don't tell you which version a casino has installed. Only the game rules shown in the operator's lobby do, and that is the screen to open before placing any bet.
Three seasons of growth under a new owner
The first season felt like a sprint. In an interview with CasinoBeats in December 2022, Andrew Braithwaite described a headcount that had grown from six people to more than forty, an in-house development studio, a set of proprietary tools and a remote game server. He also owned up to a mistake without dressing it up. The game maths had not been right in 2022, for lack of time spent on simulators and testing, and the 2023 line-up was meant to be much stronger on that front.
Meanwhile, the shareholder itself had changed hands. A US casino-resort giant from Las Vegas bought the Swedish operator in 2022, and Blue Guru Games Limited already appears in the list of subsidiaries that this group filed with the SEC on 24 February 2023. The Maltese studio carried on producing as if nothing had happened, and went on to obtain a Swedish gaming provider licence effective from 1 July 2023. That same year, the enlarged group bought Push Gaming, a British slot studio, which joined Blue Guru in the family fold. Blue Guru was no longer alone in carrying the group's creative ambitions.
How did Blue Guru become Slammer Studios?
Blue Guru Games was neither sold nor wound up. It was renamed. The Maltese company Blue Guru Games Ltd. is now called Slammer Studios Limited, carries registration number C99079 and has kept the Swedish licence it obtained under its former name. Public documents frame the date of the name change. The list of subsidiaries filed on 23 February 2024 still cites Blue Guru Games Ltd., while the privacy notice of 25 November 2024 already identifies Slammer Studios Ltd by that same number.
What the SEC subsidiary list reveals
The clearest proof lies in an American stock market filing. Every year, the group's parent company files a list of its subsidiaries with the SEC as an exhibit to its annual report. The February 2023 and February 2024 versions mention Blue Guru Games. The one dated 18 February 2025 lists “Slammer Studios Limited (fka Blue Guru Games Ltd.)”, and the 11 February 2026 version keeps only Slammer Studios Limited. For anyone writing the history of a studio, these few lines are worth more than every press release.
The other clues all point the same way. The slammerstudios.com domain was registered on 10 June 2024 with the same registrar as bluegurugames.com, using the same name servers. The new site's homepage carries a creation date of 26 August 2024 in its own metadata. The Swedish register grants Slammer Studios Limited a gaming provider licence valid from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028, exactly the period of the licence announced for Blue Guru in June 2023. A licence doesn't change hands with a logo. It follows the company.
The faces haven't changed either. Kristian Hassall, Blue Guru's commercial manager and later its marketing and brand manager, became commercial director of Slammer Studios. Lloyd Roberts, introduced as Blue Guru's head of studio when Freaked Out Fish was announced in August 2024, kept that title at Slammer, where he also appears as product director in the ICE 2025 presentation. The Slammer website even gives the lineage away, since the Terracotta Army page still bills it as the latest game from Blue Guru Games.
Magawa Vs Mines and the tribute to the Vs series
The first title released under the Slammer Studios name, Magawa Vs Mines, came out on 28 November 2024. In its launch article, the new brand presented it as a nod to the Blue Guru Games team, which had driven the Vs series with Napoleon Vs Rabbits and Aussies Vs Emus. Kristian Hassall added that Slammer was building on Blue Guru's work. At no point does the text say that both are the same company.
The game's hero really existed. Magawa was an African giant pouched rat trained by the APOPO organisation to sniff out mines in Cambodia, where he found 71 landmines and 38 items of unexploded ordnance. In 2020, he became the first rat to receive the PDSA Gold Medal, awarded by a British veterinary charity, before dying at the age of eight in January 2022. The game pays tribute to him on a cascading 7x7 grid, where wild rats run towards mystery mines to blow them up and reveal symbols. During free spins, the mines turn gold and carry multipliers, for an advertised maximum win of 20,000 times the stake and three RTP versions, 85.91%, 93.92% and 95.98%.
Mystic Multipliers and Legend of Odysseus in 2025
Slammer Studios signed with Relax Gaming on 17 December 2024 to distribute its games through the Silver Bullet programme, taking the road Blue Guru had opened two years earlier. In January 2025, Lloyd Roberts talked about Brazil soon joining its distribution circuit and about expanding into Europe's major regulated markets thanks to the in-house game server. Mystic Multipliers, a druid-inspired game, came out on 26 March 2025. Its wins land from eight matching symbols anywhere on a 6x5 grid that can expand to 6x8, and its progressive multipliers can climb as high as x500 during free spins.
Legend of Odysseus, dated 21 August 2025 on its page, is the last title Slammer has presented. It runs on a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways, an architecture also found at the Australian studio behind seven 4,096-ways games, far from the clusters of the Vs series. Its stated volatility is no higher than 2 out of 10, for a maximum win of 5,794 times the stake, and two free spins modes let players choose between multiplier wilds and coin collection. Odysseus thus closes, for now, the mythological loop that Hercules and the Nemean lion opened in spring 2022.
2026 and the retreat into the group's own brands
The momentum of 2025 came to an abrupt halt. The Slammer Studios news feed hasn't moved since 22 May 2025, and the homepage, last modified on 13 May 2026, no longer shows a single game as of 13 October 2026. The main menu now leads only to the home page, the About page and the contact page, with just a sidebar menu still giving access to the news.
On 12 August 2026, the About page changed its tune. Slammer Studios now says it develops gaming content and technology exclusively for its group's brands, its subsidiaries and a North American online betting brand linked to its parent company. The text also mentions proprietary data-driven tools meant to give the group a competitive edge. Eight days earlier, on 4 August 2026, the UK regulator had registered a remote supplier licence in the name of Slammer Studios Limited, under account 101601.
So the studio no longer sells its creations on the open market. It works for the house. That is the heart of the restructuring, and the reason this page links to no casino. The message remains muddled, though, because the Partners page, still reachable by its URL, continues to promote the Silver Bullet deal with Relax Gaming and the access it offers to major operators.
Three licences held by Slammer Studios
| Authority | Reference | Activity | Period | Status on 13/10/2026 |
|---|
| Malta Gaming Authority | MGA/B2B/1037/2023 | B2B Critical Supply, Type 1, casino vertical | issued 06/08/2024 according to the site footer in 2025 | Licensed |
| Spelinspektionen (Sweden) | licence ID 715472489 | gaming provider (spelprogramvara) | 01/07/2023 to 30/06/2028 | active |
| UK Gambling Commission | account 101601, licence 101601-R-342826-002 | Gambling Software (Remote) | since 04/08/2026 | active |
All three registers give the same address, on the seventh floor of the Plaza Business Centre, on Bisazza Street in Sliema. The current footer also displays the logos of the Ontario regulator and GambleAware, without any associated number.
What the forgotten pages give away
Forgotten pages sometimes tell the story of a restructuring better than press releases. Browsing the Slammer Studios website on 13 October 2026, I noted several inconsistencies, most of them inherited from Blue Guru's game pages.
| Item | What it says | What doesn't add up |
|---|
| Title of the St. Louis 1904 page | “ST. LOUIS 1094” | eight centuries out on the game's own name |
| Story on the St. Louis 1904 page | opens with Napoleon's rabbit hunt | paragraph copied from the Napoleon Vs Rabbits page, placed before the marathon one |
| Terracotta Army date | released 6 September 2023 | the press announced 26 September 2023 |
| Napoleon Vs Rabbits date | released 1 December 2022 | release on the Relax network announced for 15 December 2022 |
| Volatility scale | “5 out of 5” on four pages, a score out of 10 on four others, “High” for Magawa Vs Mines | three different scales on a single site |
| Freaked Out Fish maximum win | 3,894x | identical to one of the two values shown for Napoleon Vs Rabbits |
| Partners page | Silver Bullet deal with Relax Gaming showcased | contradicts the About page, which has reserved output for the group since 12/08/2026 |
| Privacy notice of 25/11/2024 | Slammer Studios Ltd named as data controller | requests sent to a data protection mailbox on the group's domain, postal address in another company's name |
| bluegurugames.com domain | registration valid until 23/01/2027 | name servers that refuse queries |
Nothing serious for a player, but these details betray pages left to gather dust. According to the sitemap, the six pages inherited from Blue Guru haven't been modified since 13 November 2024.
What I take away from the Blue Guru story
Blue Guru Games had the rare gift of knowing how to tell a story. An imperial hunt turned into a rout by rabbits. A war lost to emus. A marathon whose first man across the line had ridden part of the way in a car. Few studios have dared so much historical humour in so little time. The flip side shows in the numbers, with game maths its boss admitted had fallen short in 2022 and RTP versions that dip below 86%.
There is something paradoxical about its path. It runs counter to a Maltese studio that broke away from its parent platform, which set out to conquer the whole market after leaving the fold where it was born. Blue Guru went the other way. Born to serve its shareholder while selling to others, it tried its luck with Relax and ORYX before coming home under another name. In a market Liam Mulvaney already considered saturated in 2022, this retreat has its own logic, that of a player who would rather cash out than raise on an average hand.
What saddens me is the fate of the games. Reserved for the brands of a single group, Slammer's titles are out of sight for outsiders, while Blue Guru's creations grow old on pages no menu links to any more. Malta has already seen other studios fade away, such as Arcadem, of which little more than online archives remains. If Slammer Studios ever reopens its production to the rest of the market, this page will say so.

FAQ: Blue Guru Games
What is Blue Guru Games?
Blue Guru Games is a Maltese video slot studio, set up in 2021 and renamed Slammer Studios in 2024. From 2022 to 2024, its games reached online casinos through Relax Gaming's Silver Bullet programme and the Bragg group's ORYX platform. The studio stood out with slots that tell a story, starting with its Vs series.
Does Blue Guru Games still exist?
Not under that name. Blue Guru Games was renamed Slammer Studios in autumn 2024, with no bankruptcy and no sale. The Maltese company kept its registration number, C99079. In the list of subsidiaries filed with the SEC on 18 February 2025, it appears as “Slammer Studios Limited (fka Blue Guru Games Ltd.)”, meaning formerly known as Blue Guru Games.
Who founded Blue Guru Games?
Blue Guru Games was launched in 2021 by the investment arm of a Swedish online casino operator, which owned 85% of it. Its creation was announced on 3 May 2021. Andrew Braithwaite was its CEO and co-founder. The Swedish operator was bought in 2022 by a US casino-resort giant from Las Vegas, which is now the parent company of Slammer Studios.
Where is Blue Guru Games based?
Blue Guru Games is based in Sliema, Malta, under its new name of Slammer Studios Limited. The Maltese, Swedish and British regulators' registers all give the same address, on the seventh floor of the Plaza Business Centre on Bisazza Street. In 2022, the studio also relied on a production studio in Asia, audio facilities in the United Kingdom and a branch in Estonia.
How many games has Blue Guru Games released?
Sixteen Blue Guru Games titles are documented between April 2022 and September 2024. All of them are video slots, from The Nemean Lion to Freaked Out Fish. As of 13 October 2026, six of them still have a page on the Slammer Studios website, including Napoleon Vs Rabbits, Terracotta Army and St. Louis 1904.
What is the Blue Guru Vs series?
The Vs series is a collection of Blue Guru slots that pits a historical figure against animals, based on a real anecdote or close to it. It began in December 2022 with Napoleon Vs Rabbits, inspired by an imperial hunt in 1806 that turned into a rout. Aussies Vs Emus followed in 2023 with the 1932 Emu War, and Slammer Studios extended the series in November 2024 with Magawa Vs Mines.
What is the RTP of Blue Guru slots?
On the six pages still online at Slammer Studios, the RTP of Blue Guru slots ranges from 85.97% to 96.10%, depending on the version chosen by the casino. Each title comes in two versions, and the more generous one sits between 95.45% and 96.10%. Check the rate applied in the game rules shown by the operator before you bet.
Did Blue Guru Games hold a licence?
Yes. Blue Guru Games obtained a Swedish gaming provider licence valid from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2028, now in the name of Slammer Studios Limited. The company also holds the Maltese licence MGA/B2B/1037/2023 and, since 4 August 2026, a remote licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
Does Blue Guru still offer its games to online casinos?
Not officially any more. Since 12 August 2026, Slammer Studios, Blue Guru's new name, has said it develops exclusively for its group's brands and for a North American online betting brand linked to its parent company. Its Partners page still showcases the Silver Bullet deal signed with Relax Gaming, though.
Can I play Blue Guru slots where I live?
That depends on your local rules. Online slots are only legal in markets that license online casinos, such as the United Kingdom, Malta or Ontario. Several countries and most US states allow online sports betting but not casino games, so no casino can legally offer Blue Guru slots to residents there.
