Yokozuna Clash™ is a 5 reels, 3 rows Yggdrasil slot with 243 ways to win. There are no winning lines but combinations of 3 or more identical symbols and either from the left or the right you can get wins! There are 4 strong and 4 weak symbols, a wild symbol that will substitute all regular symbols and a free spins symbol that will only appear on reels 1 and 5 in the main game.
In the city of Yokozuna the sumo wrestling tournament is eagerly awaited. This year, as in previous years, there are participants from all over the world as it is a very expensive tournament. And as usual the sumo winner for countless years is Yokozuna (his mother named him after his village), and he was going straight to the final.
All the sumo wrestlers wanted revenge from the previous year, especially O'Connell who had lost to Yokozuna in the final. There were also the brothers Riku and Haru (the blue and green sumo wrestlers from Yokozuna Clash™) and Daisure who came this year very fit and very prepared. They were all overexcited and the atmosphere was very electric!
The first fights are very easy for our sumo friends but the most difficult one is not long in coming. Riku and Haru have to fight... Not easy because the forces are very equal but finally it is Riku who takes the upper hand and leaving Haru in his disappointment shows his joy and his rage to win to the public.
But this joy will soon be tarnished as he has to fight O'Connell who will leave him off the mat very quickly and end his dream of reaching the final to fight the champion. What O'Connell didn't know was that he would be eliminated by Daisure before he got to the final.
And here comes the long awaited fight: Yokozona vs Daisure (two other sumo wrestlers from the Yokozuna Clash™)! It's not going to be an easy fight as the two sumos are almost equal in strength. But after a while Yokozuna flinches and Daisure sends him off the mat and proclaims himself the new tournament champion!
The tournaments feature will trigger when 2 free spins symbols land on the reels. When the free spins are activated a sumo from the base game is chosen to fight in one of two free spins sumo tournaments. There is no set amount of free spins but a gauge to measure power.
Whenever there are winning combinations from the left only, the power gauge will increase by 2. When there are wins from the right only the gauge will increase to the left by 3 or 4 positions and the sumo free spins will reward an additional feature.
The payouts for this feature will be rewarded only after the chosen extra feature is played. When there are 2 or more winning combinations and one of them starts on the left and the other on the right then there will be a tie and no more extra features will be triggered from the sumo free spins.
When the power gauge is moved all the way to the left the free spins will end but if it is moved to the right the player advances to the semi-final of the Yokozuna fight. Beating Yokozuna will reward an extra x2 in free spins multipliers.
Sumo Riku, in blue, will randomly award 1 to 2 wilds on reels 2, 3 or 4 in the main game or 1 to 3 wilds in the free spins semi-final and 2 to 4 wilds in the free spins final. His moves increase the power gauge to the right by 2 bars in the free spins.
Haru sumo, in green, randomly awards a x2 to x3 multiplier in the base game or a x2 to x4 multiplier in the free spins tournament. His moves move the gauge 2 bars to the right in the free rounds.
O'Conner Sumo, the Scot, has shots that move the gauge 3 bars to the left in the free spins and will award a free spin multiplier of x2 to x4 when he pushes the gauge to the left. Daisuke sumo, the buffalo sumo, has moves that move the power gauge 3 bars to the left in free spins and rewards 1-3 wilds in spins when he pushes the gauge left.
The sumo Yokozuna, the demon, will only be available after defeating in the first free spins tournament. He will randomly reward x2 to x4 multiplier when he pushes the gauge to the left and his moves move the power gauge 4 bars to the left.
In a 5-of-a-kind win, 5 symbols of the same kind, the sumos will collide and can win from 2 to 4 extra symbols of the same kind. The extra symbols won will not land on the winning symbols or wilds.
If 2 or more 5-of-a-kind symbols appear, only the highest symbol will award extra symbols. The sumo clash feature will only be available in the free spins and 5-of-a-kind wins will be paid out once.
